Evan has been our plumber for the past 14 years. He installed all the plumbing on our new construction. He has handled all the plumbing and heating issues that occur with some regularity in our 97-year-old home. The man is a plumbing savant! Evan explains what you need, what you don't need, and what you might want to consider. Prompt, courteous, and professional, I couldn't recommend his work any higher.

After initially using Evan's services, I was so impressed that I will not be using anyone else for my plumbing needs, and felt compelled to write this review!

I needed to replace and install a new well water filtration system for my home and property. A number of plumbers I had contacted for service--of those whom answered me--blew me off.

Then I called Evan.

Evan was so incredibly responsive and helpful! After discussing my project over the phone and sharing a few photos of the work to be done, he soon arrived at my property, and took care of business in short order.

While he was here working, he explained what he was doing in terms I could easily understand. He also patiently received and responded to my barrage of questions, as I sought to understand the best practices of what and why he was doing what he did while he performed the services I requested. He was very personable and an incredible wealth of information, which he freely shared... reminded me of talking with one of my former science teachers--yet also a guy with whom I could easily sit down and enjoy a ""cold one""!

When the project was completed, everything worked as expected (if not even exceedingly so!). Then, he gave me his bill for services.

Drum roll, please..

Honestly, I was expecting to pay MUCH more... in fact, I added an additional 20% to his charges, because I gained so much more from his ""visit"", and truly appreciated his craft!

By the way, Evan, I'll be contacting you in the near future, because I have another project I want to farm out to you!!!

Just called to ask for some directiossistance. We have standing water in our water closet on the floor. It's unclear where it's coming from or what the issue is--everything else is draining fine.

Couldn't get two words out. The guy that answered cut me off to say ""WE DON'T CLEAR DRAINS!"" I calmly confirmed they were a plumber. They said ""YOU DON'T NEED TO BE A PLUMBER TO CLEAR A DRAIN."" Seriously ... what tf is wrong with you that you think it's appropriate to cut someone off like that and be rude? You didn't even ask what the issue was. You clearly don't need business and that's your prerogative, but I'm here to tell you it's no way to do business. Gross and unprofessional.

Evan is great. He's replaced a hot water heater and installed two toilets, at least, in the last 15 years. Maybe more, I can't remember. When I have a plumbing need, I know exactly who to call. He's very knowledgeable and does a professional job. He's sort of scruffy but don't be put off by that; he's friendly and helpful. If you want your plumbing repair done the right way, call Evan!!

One of the main name plumbers in the area had come out to fix my backflow valve, and even I could tell it was done totally wrong when they finally made it out on the third scheduled time (after missing the first two)

Evan from Evan's Plumbing on the other hand came right on time. He took one look at the mangled backflow valve, said ""That's a mess"", and had it replaced in an hour. He also replaced the slightly leaking backyard valve.

Evan also made some plumbing fixes for another family member - leaking bathroom toilet. Evan had that fixed quickly, where again, a name brand plumber in the area had ended up sending out two people, taking hours, and not fixing the issue.

Best plumber in the area, hands down. Fast,up front and honest. I've used Evan's Plumbing for many years and have never been disappointed! Although, Becca L. thinks a company should be rated on whether or not they allow the world to revolve around her, everyone else who uses Evan's Plumbing knows they're the best!

One of their trucks roared by me while I was on my bike, almost clipping me, violating the 3-foot rule by a longshot. I was going over 25 in a 30 zone, so they were well over the speed limit. When I called to complain the man who answered was incredibly rude and hung up on me. In a town that prides itself on being so bicycle friendly, we should not support such businesses.

Evan did a repair to a leaky gas line on my water heater by replacing the line. He arrived on time, his price was reasonable since this was a last minute call and he checked for leaks after completing the job.
