Who would of thought the soft spoken guy has no integrity. While his jobs are not bad, but good luck if you have a few projects for this guy to come back to finish them all. When I said like pulling teeth begging for him to finish, that doesn't scratch the surface. Pulling teeth probably a lot easier than that. He will require you to pay everyday when he finish the job even though he will have to come back the next day anyway. That is not a problem for us. But now become problem when he removed your exhaust fan, you can't cook inside the house without the fan. He supposed to comeback to instal the new fan but he keep giving us the round around all reasons under the moon. From his teeth problem, he can't talk returning phone call (why not text?) but whatever. And then his brother got Covid, and then his wife having a baby. We called him and leave messages but he's disappeared. The kitchen light the ones he install blinking until today he won't come back to fix that. Evan Plata, as a good human being with integrity you should at least come back to fix your job.
Now we know why you ask for payment the end of the day when your job ended even you supposed to come back anyway. Because you know your self you might not coming back. Never mind after you
removed our exhaust fan and you don't have the integrity to come back to finish at least that. You left us with no cooking inside for months.
When you telling all your lies when my friend was there she said I can tell a lier written all over his face. I said I think he's a honest guy. But my fried was right. He can tell a lier better than me.
I dont how you sleep at night knowing you have unfinish business. But again people no integrity they have no problem doing that.
When he lies to you or he dont show up, he will tell you that, ""Im sorry I just drop the ball on this one."" Thats his lines. How many times you have to drop the ball Evan Plata?
If you have one day project and you are lucky to have him show up, them you probably be Ok. But good luck if his job went wrong and he needs to come back to fix it. That will be different story. The most UNRELIABLE person we've ever met!

I surprised my wife with a fandelier recently. The new fandelier weighed close to 40 pounds so I decided to have someone experienced in this type of work to complete the task.

John, from Evans Handyman came by the following evening and assessed the area. He reinforced the support beams to properly support the heavy piece. The new piece was installed, my wife and I were very happy with John, this Technician who installed the fan. Very professional and knowledgeable. We will definitely use Evans again!!

I had two bad outlets and outlet boxes that his partner John replaced in my living room. Evan installed a solar ring camera and solar panel, Evan also installed a motion sensor switch for my interior garage lights, and he installed a 4' fluorescent light fixture over a work bench. Evan and John do great work, and they clean up after themselves when done. They keep you in the loop as to what' s going on and they are always on time to the job. This is my second time hiring them and we discussed at least three more jobs for them.

I know it's not a fuse. I tripped the breaker for the kitchen. My sister and I are in our 70s. Old school. Had no idea what to do. called Evans explained the problem. The gentleman, and I mean gentleman, said the reset button for kitchen is usually in garage. Darn if it wasn't. As senior citizens we're both sitting decks for being overcharged. we weren't even charged. it might be a small thing to most people but we are so happy. I had a ceiling fan project I had been putting off for a minute because of electrical issues that were, quite frankly, perplexing to me. I saw Evan's service truck while driving to work one day and decided to give him a call. I needed it installed ASAP, and he came through and completed the job very quickly and with great confidence.

We spent an hour outlining what I want done while you appeared to take notes. You left saying that you would have estimates ready in 2 days. Never happened. The fact that you don't remember any of this proves my point.

Needed a microwave installed above my range. Home Depot refused to install the microwave because of my kitchen tile back splash. I gave Evan a call and had a quote within an hour. We then arranged an appointment and he showed on time, was polite, installed everything appropriately, and cleaned up the mess. Would use again. Thanks Evan.
