Ethan's Plumbing is excellent and worth your time and money. We moved into our house in June of 2015. After about a year our hot water heater started having problem with its pilot light staying lit. Ethan's name on number were on it because they had installed it before we bought the house, so I called them for help. Scott showed up and fixed a factory defect in the time it's taken me to write this review. Their response was immediate, professional and instructive.

Last night our pilot light went out again. Ethan was booked all day, but after communicating throughout the day he found time to fit us in and stopped by to take a look. He identified the problem and fixed it, again, in just a few minutes.

The problem each time has been with the product the previous owner purchased and bad luck, and each time Ethan's Plumbing has come out to save the day. I cannot emphasize enough that he took time out of an already busy schedule to get us up and running again. That's above and beyond the call of duty, and it's why you shouldn't hesitate to call them when you need plumbing services.

Ethan is great! I had some water damage in the ceiling under an upstairs bathroom. After hearing some water dripping after someone used the toilet and sink, I thought it might be from one of those in that bathroom. I contacted Ethan via email and he asked some questions about the problem and we set up an appointment. He arrived on time and quickly located the issue which was an old wax ring on the toilet. He already had the parts in a tray he had brought with him and replaced it. I also asked him about a leak in the master bath, and he located and fixed that problem as well.
The charge for the work was very reasonable. He was very friendly and professional, and I would recommend him to anyone without hesitation.

If you have any plumbing issue, Ethan is the man to call! I needed to replace an old 1950's toilet and called Ethan on a Monday afternoon and had a a beautiful Toto toilet installed by 9:00 am the next day! After he had quoted a price and was on site, I asked if he would install a bidet that I had purchased and never installed. He willingly did so and did not increase his fee. He's knowledgable, friendly, talented and is accompanied on his rounds by a beautiful little chihuahua-min pin companion named Mijo! You can never go wrong working with a dog lover! Hire him for your plumbing needs! You will be a happy camper!

Ethan was great to work with! We did a light bathroom renovation with him. He came highly recommended by Michael Busk, who did all our tile work. When I mentioned his name to Style, Bath, and Kitchen, they said we had the best.

He did all our plumbing work for the project, took out our old tub, and installed our new one. He did great work and did it all on time. He's also just fun to interact with.

Ethan and Scott are our plumbers. l can't tell you how awesome that feels to be able to say that.

They do really great work, are on time, and fairly priced.

They have moved a washer and dryer for us, installed a water line to our refrigerator, and installed a new Toto Promenade toilet (never thought I'd constantly be remarking how much l love a toilet to myself and to my husband, but here I am). They are scheduled to come and do more work soon. Ethan returns texts, calls, and emails, but l think your safest bet for communication is email if it's not an emergency plumbing issue.

Ethan and Scott are amazing!!!

Let me give you a bit of context: Six months that I have a problem with my dishwasher not working, another plumbing company came twice but never fix it and pretend they would come back later...which they never did and then ignored my calls and messages. Just to add to this nightmare of me having to chase this other company, I was also in my third trimester of pregnancy up to November and now with my newborn...

Finally, last week I am being recommended to contact Ethan's Plumbing by many (many Alamedans)... Few days later, thanks to them, my dishwasher/water line problem is an old story!
Not only they diagnosed the problem within a minute but they also solved it right away as they had the part(s) needed.

Thank you so much to them, they made my day and are now the one and only plumbing company we will ever trust and call in case of need!

Apparently doesn't want more business. I called him and spoke to him on the phone about my clogged washing machine drain pipe. He said he wouldn't be able to get to me until after Thanksgiving, but to send an email with the details, which I did immediately after talking to him on November 13. I didn't get a reply to my email. so I sent a text on November 19 to ask that he confirm that he got my email. Nothing. The week after Thanksgiving I left a voice message about when he would be scheduling my job. Nothing. I finally contacted AT Weber. Not only did they respond within hours, they apologized for not being able to come until two days later -- which since I had waited two weeks to even hear back from Ethan -- and I still haven't heard back three weeks later -- was nothing! Silly me for wanting to give him some repeat business. Who leaves a single mom with two kids with no washer? Call AT Weber.
