Apparently doesn't want more business. I called him and spoke to him on the phone about my clogged washing machine drain pipe. He said he wouldn't be able to get to me until after Thanksgiving, but to send an email with the details, which I did immediately after talking to him on November 13. I didn't get a reply to my email. so I sent a text on November 19 to ask that he confirm that he got my email. Nothing. The week after Thanksgiving I left a voice message about when he would be scheduling my job. Nothing. I finally contacted AT Weber. Not only did they respond within hours, they apologized for not being able to come until two days later -- which since I had waited two weeks to even hear back from Ethan -- and I still haven't heard back three weeks later -- was nothing! Silly me for wanting to give him some repeat business. Who leaves a single mom with two kids with no washer? Call AT Weber.

Could not have been more pleased. Called Ethan in the morning and he sent Scott out same day right on time. Very efficient did a very good job at a reasonable rate. HIGHLY recommended

Ethan was great - he was fast, but more importantly did quality work. We had him do install of a newly remodeled bathroom and a tankless water heater and some other items. He was always quick to respond and super helpful - even texted me through how to unstick a disposal.

Pilot light went out on water heater late Friday. Called and emailed Ethan and he was on site at 0800 Saturday morning. Something bumped/hit the earthquake gas shut-off valve so it was a quick fix and he was on his way. Before he started his own company, he was the lead on the plumbing of my kitchen re-model. In 60+ years of dealing with plumbers I've yet to encounter anyone as thorough or professional as he and Scott, his partner in the business. Thanks again for everything Ethan!

We love Ethan and Scott. They arrive when they say they will and do a really great job at a very reasonable price. I have known Ethan for decades and could not be happier to see his independent business be so successful. You can hardly drive around Alameda without seeing one of his trucks. You will not be disappointed if you call him.

Like the other one star reviews, I too had the same issue with no return call. Even though my tile guy referred me to Ethan, and I included this information when I left the message for Ethan 3 weeks ago, I did not get a call back. I reached out to my tile guy and let him know that I do not yet have plumber so we're not ready to start the remodel, and explained that I had not heard back from Ethan, the tile guy reached out to Ethan and asked him to call me; unfortunately Ethan still has not called me back. I don't need to try this hard to find somebody to do a job for me, so I'm moving on to the next plumber.

Easter morning after another company, Ben Franklin's Plumbing out of Concord, tried to rip me off for a new water heater; Ethan came out and replace a failed flex line and a nipple. The other company told me that couldn't be done.

Ethan rocks!!!!!! Don't trust anyone else with your house!!!

We noticed that our sinks and shower were draining slowly. Since we were going to have guests over the following week, I called some plumbers in the area, and Ethan's Plumbing was the most responsive. Ethan told me that someone would be by the next day, and was accommodating with my schedule. The next day, Scott showed up promptly and was quick to fix the problem and offer some tips.

Fast forward a week or so later, I realized I needed a receipt for my landlord. I emailed Ethan's Plumbing, and received a reply with a detailed invoice a few hours later. Highly recommend these guys!
