I got completely conned by Estes, it was a complete money grab. I trust the home owner that they were doing me a favor. When I asked some others they said it could have been done for several thousand less. Don't ever take one vendors word for it. Do comparative shopping.

Jared and Byron did a relatively swift and definitely expert job installing my new hvac system. This is the second Carrier system I have bought through Estes and I have long maintained a service contract through Estes so I am definitely a proponent of the company. I like that whatever is happening, Estes employees (receptionists, customer service people, hvac service providers, salesmen, installers) are unfailingly polite and timely. They all know what they are doing and treat my home and me respectfully. This installation was no different and that is a good thing! From salesman Russell who explained my various system choices to me, to installers Jared and Byron who got the job done well and with precious little inconvenience to me, it made an expensive but necessary purchase seem like the right move! Jared was excellent at explaining the paperwork I had to sign post-installation. All in all, I would recommend Estes!

$391 to tell me my thermostat is bad (I figured that although it was worth it to find out it wasn't anything else) and then install a new one. Crazy overpricing for something that takes 30 minutes to do. Pricing breakdown: $79 to walk through my door. $112 for the actual thermostat (I bought one at Lowe's for $60 but they assure me theirs is better and it includes a warranty). $200 to install it which takes 30 minutes. No thank you.

Poor customer service. Make misleading claims about installations. Employees admit that corporate lies about full parts & labor warranty. Management doesn't return phone calls. They just care about charging your credit card and getting you to sign up for an annual service contract. They then have their employees beg you to give them a 5 star review on Google so they can get a free lunch. Sad.

The Estes team was great. Friendly, prompt and knowledgeable throughout the process. In 14 years as an Estes customer, I've not had a bad experience yet. When they were done installing our new system the place was spotless. If you're looking for prompt, professional and exemplary service, call Estes first.

Chase and Thomas were both fantastic on our latest Air Conditioning investment. Chase took the time to look through our entire system and make the needed recommendation and corrections for optimal efficiency. Thomas was excellent with the installation: timely and professional. A lot of dishonesty here. They didn't show up as promised. Didn't provide itemized quote as promised or applied initial fee to the job. They say their work has 10 year warranty but neglect to tell you it's only if you pay them for service warranties. What's worse is employees at all levels from the workman to sales & management admit the con. Nevertheless, neither management or Trust Dale respond. They beg you to write a review on Google as the workers tell you they'll get a free lunch if you do. They initially hooked the system incorrectly as heat. I smelled burning & the employee said that's normal. Once his supervisor checked, turns out it was installed incorrectly. There were so many other things that went wrong. We no longer trust this company & would not recommend or use them again. They're shady & try to take advantage of customers at their most vulnerable times
