Mitchell and David installed a new HVAC and thermostat at my home today. The outside installation for the AC was just behind my Lenten Rose garden. Mitchell and David did a great job and not one of my Lenten Roses were stepped on or damaged and the install looks great. The Indoor heating model was installed in my basement storage area, which I keep very clean. Mitchell and David put down drop cloths and cleaned up with a shop vac after the installation. I didn't see a spec of dirt or dust. Mitchell showed me how to adjust the thermostat and made some corrections on it for me. The Carrier HVAC is running great. This is the cleanest and most efficient HVAC install I have ever experienced. This is the third unit in my house. I highly recommend Estes Services for heating and air installation and maintenance.

Brad and Jordan Worked nonstop for 7 hours installing our new heating and air system. They were very friendly and professional. They left worksite on spotless condition and new system works great.

Terrible- First I went to their website and chatted with a person online to book an appointment. Then I was directed to talk to a real person via the phone. I had to explain the situation all over again. So what I thought was an appointment booked turned into a """"no show"""" and """"no call"""". Now, the window for the appointment I was told over the phone was 12-5pm. I took work off that day just for this. 4:30pm comes around and no call. I called- and was told there was no appointment for me. Are you kidding me? Their solution- no sorry nothing, just """"we can make an appointment in two days from now"""". And are you paying me for the time lost at my job? Can't image what kind of service they would provide if they can't even get the first step to booking an appointment and showing up correct. I gave one star only because there was no option to give negative. This company is so unprofessional and careless, don't know how it's still running.

I just had my electrical service / panel upgraded. Estes did exactly what they agreed upon, and much more. Nick the electrician was meticulous. Treated my home as his. The county inspector was also very impressed with his work, passed inspection the """" first time"""". Huge undertaking done on time and on budget with no surprises. I will definitely recommend and use Estes in the future. Nick is a credit to his company and his trade!

Dakota & Damey installed a replacement Variable Speed Carrier Furnace. The entire installation process was the most excellent I have experienced in 50+ years of home ownership. The installers were very attentive to details, showed pride in their workmanship and each of them were truly professional. Careful attention to details; patience and courtesy in dealing with the customer; neatness; thorough checkout of each component and clean up, all earned them an excellent rating in my view. I am quite disappointed with Estes. I had a new HVAC system installed @ the end of October. The guys were awesome (even wrote a long, happy review) They even put pine straw back down! They were there 8 1/2 hours- the job must have been done right, right?? Then I got my power bill (the highest EVER), I kept noticing my home was always 'cold' (I lost 250 lbs so I stay cold, so I thought maybe it was me?). I noticed the vent blowing 'cold air', again thought 'maybe the system is recirculating (blowing cold before it gets warm?'. So I start checking all the vents over & over. Called for service. Great customer service/follow up. The guy that came out was great-THEN I find out 'oh, they put in a bad/defective (no longer used?) thermostat- my system has been running the AC, instead of turning on the heat, it was turning on the AC system! They replaced a 20 year old system (amazed it lasted that long). NO WONDER my power bill was 85$ in Dec! Yes you replaced the thermostat (for free) but now I am out $85 in power. Not pleased - still baffled how could you install all that equipment with an out of date/bad thermostat?

I want to warn everyone about this company. My daughter called them to repair her HVAC unit in her condo. After an hour the technician told her she need a entire new system. He quoted $7,000+ and tried to get her to sign a contract for continued service. I was able to get another company to come and it turns out her unit was repaired for $410. Shame on you ESTES. Taking advantage a young woman on a limited budget is disgusting. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

I've been Estes customer for over 20 years. I called them today to get price on installing a new toilet. Their question was """" will you provide the toilet or will we?"""" I said it depends on whether you can get a specific one at Home Depot for less than I can. They say a technician will have to make a $75 service call to determine that. I tell them that makes no sense to have to make a service call to determine their cost of buying a toilet whose model number I had. Estes """"customer service"""" person says, """"those are the rules"""", essentially take it or leave it. Really rude to a 20 yr customer. I hope Tommy Estes reads this

We are extremely pleased by the consultation, installation and exceptional customer service we've received from Estes Services! Making an appointment was the easy part. The consultation was thorough and informative- truth be told, our consultant did not try to sell us something that was not necessary for the size of our home. The day of installation, the crew arrived on time and completed the job with perfection! We will be replacing our other unit in the near future and we will definitely use Estes Services! For for the past 15 years I have been a loyal Estes customer. Estes also installed my current ac and furnace 15 years ago. I am very disappointed in their service and would strongly not recommend using them or buying a furnace or ac through them. Recently had one of their techs do a routine winter inspection on my unit and he left my house after the inspection failing to turn back on my unit after the inspection. I called the tech and told him my unit is off and not running. The tech blatantly told me just to call his office because he's halfway across the town on his way to another customer and can't turn back. He did not show any concern about my current situation prevents help me over the phone to resolve the issue. Also Estes prices are much higher than the other businesses. They also tried to get me to buy a new unit even though my unit is still working. I would recommend shopping for other estimates if you're looking for a/c and/or furnace maintenance, inspection or buying a new unit. I can not recommend Estes o anyone after my negative experiences with them. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
