I have been using Essex Plumbing for more than 8 years. Don and the rest of his team are great. He put in a new boiler in our office in East Meadow 4 years ago. Great workmanship. He has good hours, his team call before coming to make sure you are home.
Have also used Don to install water spigot at our old house before we were going to sell it.
Will definitely use Essex Plumbing again.

Do NOT use Essex plumbing!! They were great about taking our money, but the service was awful. We gutted our house down to the studs, new plumbing, electric. Etc.. We paid Essex plumbing 30,105.00 in advance to install our plumbing. Don the owner lied to us, the price was to include pulling permits, which was never done. The price included installation of appliances after the kitchen was installed, he outright refused to do it. The staff was extremely rude to my daughter-in-law, we had to complain to the owner Don. Additionally, Don refused to complete the job with over $4,000.00 advanced to him for completion. We had to hire another plumber (Sal Manzo) to install our appliances. Essex had installed a new efficiency gas boiler but did not upgrade the gas meter. The capacity of our gas meter was 175,000 btu's while the boiler alone was using 175,000 btu's, the dryer and stove btu use was not taken into account. Good thing the new plumber, (Sal Manzo), we hired discovered this in the summer! Like I said DO NOT HIRE THIS PLUMBER! Hire Sal Manzo... they were excellent!
