Yesterday afternoon, I returned from running some errands to discover that I had an electrical issue.  I tried to solve it myself, but soon realized I needed professional help.  It was already after 2 on a Friday afternoon and I wondered if I'd be able to get this solved before I went into the weekend.

It was not a huge problem, not huge fee to be received, but a bother I didn't want to endure for the weekend.  I went to YELP, described my problem and my location and hoped for the best.  In a short time, Chris -- the owner of Essential Home Solutions -- contacted me and said he'd be there in an hour.

True to his word, he called from downstairs and I buzzed him in.  In less than thirty minutes he solved my problem, charged me the reasonable fee he quoted on the phone and left.  I am having a stress-free weekend because Chris came by my place late on a Friday afternoon.  He's now my go to electrician and I'm giving his contact information to my friends.  A responsive, knowledgeable and customer-committed electrician is hard to find.

Left a request on Yelp for electric work, 4 companies contacted me , 3 of them wanted me to agree to pay them anywhere from $150 to $250 just to show up . Christian didn't ask for up front money , inspected my problem and gave me a price to repair. We agreed and 30 minutes later my lights were on. He resolved the problem others on Yelp were charging $150 to $200 more .

Had a great experience with Cristian. Super quick to communicate, came within the hours mentioned, reasonably priced. We also had a faucet issue (the one we bought did not fit) and he was super patient as we had to run out and get a new faucet. Highly recommend!

Quote went up $300 when I asked if they had insurance.

I would not recommend using a contractor that doesn't have insurance.

If they get injured on your property then they can sue you or you could be held liable.
