We awoke to the sewage backed up and coming up through the pipes. Not the way to start our morning. We called Israel and left a message at 7:30. He had called back within 10 minutes and was at our house to help within the hour. Great service. Solved quickly.

Came home to a flooded kitchen and a worried situation and so glad I called Israel after finding him on Yelp. I had a leak in my gas main and had to shut everything off. I called up Bay Rooter in the afternoon on Monday -- they had someone out within an hour to inspect the situation and scheduled a fix for the next morning at 9am. Promptly at 9am I got a knock on the door. He came in, shut off all my valves and appliances, and began fixing my leak.

In the process of fixing, he checked the full system, finding 7 additional leaks (and showing me pictures of the leaks under my house, spraying bubbles on the ones for me to see in my house).

Throughout the entire process, he kept me informed of what he found, what he was fixing, and even showed me how he was identifying the leaks. He had to make 2 trips to the store to pick up specific pieces to replace piping or valves that were corroded and broken. All told, he spent 7 and a half hours under my house in a cramped crawl space.

The situation was a lot worse than we had originally thought, so the bill was higher than the original estimate, but I felt I was getting a very fair deal and in the end he gave me a bit of a discount off the revised estimate.

I am so much more at ease to know my gas lines have been inspected and fixed, and I am confidant in that ease because of the level of detail he provided at each step along the way.

All told, it was a very fairly priced, 5-star quality job and Bay Rooter is my new go-to plumbing company. I'm very happy with their work and hope that this review will get them the business they deserve.

I found out that my moms toilet started leaking from the bottom on Thanksgiving day this year and so I had a friend come over to help me the replace the wax seal. It looked like everything was fixed but after the second flush, the water started backing up in the bowl and as well I saw water also starting to backing up into the bath tub. I did some research on local plumbers in the area then checked out their ratings on Yelp to help me decide who to call.
I am very happy I picked the right one to call! As stated in previous reviews by others customers, Israel arrived at my mom's home in about 30 minutes as stated on the phone after I called him around 11:45am. (please note the time) After running an enormous snake up the sewer main many times (maybe 90-100 ft), he got out his scope and let me actually see up and inside the sewer main piping. There were tons and tons of root growth inside which was causing the water backup. He then got out this really cool tool that showed him approximately where the concentration of roots were located in the pipes that were barred underground. Then he had to start digging. I really felt bad as most every one who posted a review seemed to have him in at out of their homes with in an hour or so but because he kept running into more issues and because he wanted to make sure this got resolve the same day to help my mom, he kept at it until it was finally resolve! This man is extremely knowledgeable about his trade and has all the latest state of the art and coolest tools a plumber could have with him. He is also the most caring and conscientious individual I have had come out to the house in a long time""who genuinely cares about the quality of work performed"" and wants to make sure you are happy with his work!! I am saying this because"" it was almost dark by the time he finished and very cold"" but he kept at it til it was resolved. I would recommend him to anyone who needs plumbing repairs done! You just don't find an individual with this kind of dedication to his work anymore ! MY MOTHER AND I THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH ISRAEL! YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!!

I called Bay Rooter based on reviews here. Israel gave me an immediate appointment, and gave me an estimate up front after surveying the issues. His costs are competitive, his manner and approach professional and efficient. He basically checked and cleared all exterior drains to prepare for winter storms. Israel is very much a 5 star plumber.

The pipes in our bathtub was clogged for two days. It was pumping out water and some dirty black residue. Our landlord called Bay Rooter Plumbing and the plumber, Israel, was so kind and sweet. He was on time with the appointment and answer all my questions. Nice people. Great job.

Flush toilet, tub backs up. YUCK! Called Israel at 3:45 p.m. on a Friday (based on Yelp ratings). He was here at 4:45. Diagnosed roots in the sewer line which we could see with the camera he had in the truck - so cool! Israel said he would dig up the pipe and see if he had the right parts to fix it...which he did...and then it was fixed...and the skies opened up and the angels sang...bathroom functional, weekend saved! Ahhhhhhhhhhh! Thanks, Israel!

Israel came out immediately on a Saturday afternoon and promply cleared out our sewer main backup with a drill snake. He charged me the same as quoted on the phone prior to arrival + a yelp discount. After clearing it out he ran a camera through to show me where I have issues with the main line so I could consider how to prevent it next time. Would recommend for straightforward clean out and inspection work.
