Israel from Bay Rooter is DA MAN.

My shower and toilet backed up at 10 am today. I called and he was at our place in Oakland by 11 am. By noon he had run a rooter out 75 feet or so until he found a blockage in our main sewer drain that the rooter couldn't get through; he suspected it was a broken or shifted pipe. He next used his camera snake widget thingo to verify the location of the block, which blessedly turned out to be under our lawn and not under the sidewalk. By 12:30 pm he was hard at work digging a four-feet deep hole in our lawn. The pipe was right where he said it was, and it was hosed. He then made a run to get parts from Home Depot and repaired the broken pipe. By 3 pm he was running his rooter on the next section of the main sewer line, which was clogged with tons of roots. (It had been at least 10 years since anybody had rooted this pipe...)

The whole time he was polite, professional, and hard working. He was patient with my stupid questions, and did all the things he should (he'd wear little clean-room booties so as not to track dirt into the house; he put down plastic tarps when he was digging on the lawn so as not to make a mess. And he had every tool you could want.

I'd recommend him in a heartbeat. Thank you, sir!

Obnoxious sewer clog. Called Israel. Shows up in 45 mins. Instant review & quote. Takes my grin as approval. Slides his snake. Clog is annihilated in few mins. Cleans up, takes his dues and on his way. Clog free days are here to stay. I hope!!

Twas the day after Christmas, and all through the house a foul odor did waft. A sewer full of roots and a backed up toilet, and no plumbers willing to come out on the morning of December 26th. Until: Israel. He came out within 45 minutes and did a great job cleaning out the pipes. Unlike other Rooter companies he took the time to show us the problem and develop a plan for a longer term solution to the problem. We will definitely be using Bay Rooter Plumbing for all rooting and plumbing needs going forward.

My Kitchen sink was clogged and I needed a professional.. And, unlike all the other 'established' plumbing companies in San Rafael, that can never fit you on their calendar or are vague about their costs -- Israel's way of doing business feels like it's 'Made in America'. That is to say, here's a honest, skilled man with his trade that understands the concerns and urgency of his fellow man and customers. He keeps it simple folks. Something I feel that is lost in business today.

Called Bay Rooter about 9:30 am on Friday with a plugged sink drain. Israel was able to make a 11:30 appointment. Told me how much, was done in 40 minutes. Clean, fast, efficient, courteous, I'll call them again! OK it wasn't a difficult problem, but timing and execution count big with me. Show up when you promised and perform? That's what you want!

Thanks Israel. Had an urgent need to relocate a hose bib. Despite another appointment he had at 9am, he still drove all the way out to San Rafael at 7am (promptly on time) to resolve the issue. He even took the time to re-adjust my water pressure before he left. No fuss, straight-forward, and honest. He tells you what's wrong and goes to fix it right away. Other bids I got from plumbers were unreasonably high. Only Israel was realistic about the time/effort it took for the job. I would definitely call Israel again!
