The answering service told me that a plumber would be to my house between 10-2. Stated I would get a call 30 minutes prior to their arrival. I did get a call, however, it was to tell me the plumber was running behind.

That's a good call keeping the customer informed. Especially, when I have to miss an entire day of work. And all of this was long before the two o'clock hour. At least they knew they were running behind and kept me informed.

The plumber did awesome work and fixed the leak. You have to take out a small loan when it comes time to call a plumber, it ain't cheap. If you need to call a plumber I recommend these guys. At Ernie's they do the customer right. The leak is fixed and it's done correctly. I got a military discount to boot!

I called Ernie's plumbing 7 days before the service I requested to make an appointment. The young lady that answered the phone was very polite and I explained in detail that I needed a plumber to change a since from a single sink to a double sink. I also explained what was in the wall since my husband and I had already removed the sheet rock. I explained that I needed to setup an appointment because this was my lake house and at this time we did not have any water. She made the appointment for Saturday between 9 and 1pm. At 11 am I called to confirm that they were still coming and she said that the plumber was at another job and our job was next. At 1pm I called to check again on the pumper and was told that he was just getting done with the job he was doing and did we still want him to come. She asked me twice if I still wanted him to come and I reminded her that I made an appointment 7 days ago and that we did not have any water. I stated I most certainly wanted the plumber to come and that I had already waited 4 hours. At 3:30 pm the plumber showed up and this is when the biggest problem began. The plumber came to the door and did not even turn off his van. The plumber was pleasant and headed right to the bathroom because I assume he knew what I needed completed. He looked at the plumbing and said that he would write me a quote. I explained that I had made an appointment to have the plumbing completed and did not need a quote. He went to his truck and return with a $1000.00 bill and gave me a 20% discount so it would be $800.00. I agreed because I have people coming for Easter and I really needed this completed even though I felt the price was too high. Here is the biggest problem. The plumber informed me that he did not have any of the supplies he needed and would have to schedule another day. The only items that this plumber would have needed was red hose, blue hose, PVC and connectors. I cannot understand how a plumber can drive a big van and not have any of the plumbing supplies he need to do his job. DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY THEIR FRONT OFFICE APPARENTLY DOES NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. THEY DO NOT FOLLOW THEIR TIME FRAME FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT. THIS PLUMBING SERVICE MUST BE TOO BIG TO HAVE ANY TYPE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. BEWARE.
