Well...I have to be honest, I was planning to give 1-2 stars. But Randy (site manager) called me and made it right!

We had a pool in the front yard by the time Fred with Ernie's got to us on Friday. He did a quick evaluation and quoted $714+parts. I told him that was high for what looked to be an easy access. He told me that it was a flat rate whether it took 2-10 hours. Long story short, he got it fixed in about 1-1.5 hours and maintained the quoted price. (note - he was very courteous and accommodating of my questions, the service was excellent). I paid it, but called the office and left a message to speak with the manager. We final got connected a few days later and Randy was VERY understanding and had already reviewed the invoice and comments that I had left earlier about the situation - he refunded 1/2 of the labor!! That put the cost back into the ball park that I had expected.

Give Randy a chance before blasting on Yelp...

I was given a 4 hour window for a plumber to come out and give me an estimate. I was told someone would be there between 10-2pm. I called at 11:52 to check the status. I was told the plumber was at lunch and I was his next stop. Next they called me at 12:37 to tell me the plumber was running late and they would be in touch as soon as he was available. The next call from them came at 12:55pm. I was on the other line and missed the call. I literally called right back and had the receptionist on the phone @ 12:57pm and they told me they sent the plumber on to the next job. I asked to speak to the supervisor and explained to him that it was less than 2 min before I called back and he said I'm sorry that's our policy. If you don't answer we send them on to the next job. I understand the need to have people answer but cancelling the appointment that quickly for not answering when I had talked to them twice before is a bit ridiculous. I will never call this company again.

First the estimate high just to get started what was easily a $32 job was headed past a thousand. I know because i repaired myself via home depot. I wouldn't normally trust plumbers and mechanics... here is why. Some give the rest a bad name.

prompt response, they were able to get someone out to me in 24 hours. they gave me a window of 11-3, being active duty military I had to take a day of leave for it but no big deal. however the day of about 10 to 11 they call and tell me he is around the corner. 20 min later I get a call that he got a flat and they are sending someone else. 2 and a half hours later I get a call saying they are 30-40 min away. 45 min later I get another call saying the same thing, 30-45 min out. they arrive at 245 and give me a quote for 205 for a 20 min snake job. seemed a bit high but I really couldn't wait for someone else at this point. they spent about 20 min just looking for tools and after they "cleared the clog" they sent a camera down and showed me where the line was broken and told me they could fix it for 1600 had they done an actual inspection maybe I could have saved myself 200 and had them be the ones to fix the break. live and learn I suppose, will likely not use or recommend this company again. when the follow-up team called to see how it went I let them know how they spent almost an hour on a 20 min job. (which if time equals money then I paid for them to look for tools as much as work) they just said ok great if I have any questions be sure and call.

update: after the technicians gave me the go ahead and left I​ ran the washer and dishwasher before going to get my kids. upon arriving home, all the water is now backed up in the tub. our slow to drain is now a total blockage.

I used to call on Ernie's Plumbing off and on for ten years and was happy with them. Recently they've hired sketchy plumbers. One came to my house didn't even attempt to resolve the issue, told me it would be $700 to clean my line. He never attempted to do any work whatsoever, he didn't even flush the toilet, he just kept repeating $700. I called another plumber, Brass Plumbing, they did the SAME job for $180 including parts.

It's funny you reply saying you've never done work for me. How about look up Kingston Ct. You'll find that you've come out multiple times. Providing WEAK & DEFENSIVE responses to truthful reviews versus correcting service issues make you incredible and an indication of how you view your customers.

We called on Saturday of Labor Day weekend with an outside hydrant leaking behind the bricks, planning to make an appointment for the next week

They do not charge extra for Saturday calls. Josh arrived with in an hour, assessed the problem and made an estimate. I was so impressed with his professionalism that I inquired about replacing at 26 yr old water heater and a faucet shut off repair inside the house. The bid for the total job was quite reasonable and he proceeded with the work. He finished in a few hours, cleaned up and left us in great shape!

Josh was a great plumber and a credit to Ernies for hiring quality employees

Shame on you Ernie's Plumbing for ripping off my parents. $400 dollars to install a faucet that they already purchased is outrages. Ernie's Plumbing likes to take advantage of people. BTW- this call was not a emergency call or a weekend call.

Ernie, my parents live in Saginaw not Sanger. Saginaw is basically a Suburb of Fort Worth.
$400 for for installing a faucet that they purchased. Shame on you!!!!

I had a water leak in my yard. Ernie's quoted me $4800 for a main line leak. The sprinkler man fixed the leak perfectly for $250 for a couple of busted lines. Arlington Utilities ran a scan and I had no further leakage issues. At least Ernie's came out. Tom's wanted to give me a mainline quote over the phone without coming out to look at it.

This company is a joke, Free Estimates, I have a project to get done to replace all of the cast iron plumbing under my house, The job is going to be around 10,000.00 The joker came out, came to the door with no intention of giving me a bid or wanting the job. All of the other companies that I have had out to bid this job, have gotten under the house looked at what needs to be done and gave me FREE estimates. This joker would not unless I gave him 190.00 to go under the house. I am sure I would not hear from him again. Just wanted to rip me off/ I do not know how many more friends he has to leave good reviews, but this company is a joke.

Called this company for minor toilet issue,they were very quick in giving me appt,and showed up same
Day but when the guy came he gave me estimate of $245 JUST TO FIX ONE VALVE of toilet that's ridiculous so I didn't get service done from them not sure if they were gonna use gold tools to fix the toilet
