Called this company for minor toilet issue,they were very quick in giving me appt,and showed up same
Day but when the guy came he gave me estimate of $245 JUST TO FIX ONE VALVE of toilet that's ridiculous so I didn't get service done from them not sure if they were gonna use gold tools to fix the toilet

I have used Ernie's for years. I love that they always send two of the same workers each time I need them. Always on time, always courteous, always knowledgeable.

Called Ernie's 6/8 about 10a for a free estimate for a total rebuild of 2 toilet tanks, incl. tank to bowl gasket and bolts. They promised someone here by 2p. I got a courtesy call he was enroute shortly after 1p and Pete was here within 30". He was very nice and cordial yet professional. He checked the tanks, gave me a price and said he'd be back today by 8:30a. Got the courtesy call today at 7:15a and he was here in an hour. He worked quickly, and in spite of all of my questions, was done with both in under 2 hours, including cleanup. We'll be asking for Pete for our future plumbing needs!

Ernie's answered the phone late on Friday afternoon, got a plumber out before the end of the day and fixed the problem. My AC was draining water into my ceiling due to a blocked plumbing line and the temp was pushing 100F. Their rate was reasonable and they got the job done quick and right. Ernie's saved the day!

I had to have a gas line removed and now I find my water heater needs replaced...Terry did an outstanding job so I specifically asked for him this time.
Significantly lower price both times, a little something extra at no charge-toilet that needed a shim and another that needed a tune up- friendly, thorough, right the first time, on time, neat...more than I expected!

Great plumbing company! They had a same day appointment available that didn't cost anything for an in home estimate. Terry Brown showed up, was polite, knowledgeable, and he cleaned up after himself. This company uses good equipment and has fair prices, would use them again!

They called me an hour late after my appointment window to let me know the guy was running late. That's fine, I took off the day for them, I can wait longer... When they called again to say he was on the way, I was on the other line and missed the call. I called back right away and they informed me my appointment was cancelled and the next window was days later. My water heater is leaking, and I have no hot water for showers or washing anything, but that's fine, I will call the punctual plumber instead.

I'm an area realtor. My kids go to school near Ernie's Plumbing and I have 2 plumbing jobs right now that need to be scheduled and I always have plumbing work that clients need done. I stopped by Ernie's on Pioneer Pkwy and was greeted by some scuzzy looking guy who thought I was a salesman. I explained I'm a realtor and have lots of plumbing work. He said "we don't do that. You want us call. There's a No Soliciting sign on the door". Yes, he threw me out. Over 600 plumbers in DFW and this idiot just threw 10's of thousands of dollars of work out of his business. My advice is to find an intelligent owner to work with. Ernie's is not that business.

I'm happy you found my review so amusing. I can't understand what makes you think I'm a salesman. I clearly said I'm a realtor. I have a Name tag on with the name of my company as well as my name. I told you I wasn't soliciting. I have recommended your company to my clients in the past. You don't know about a business until you walk in the door, I guess.

I do not want to give any stars to Ernie's Plumbing in Arlington, TX. Absolute worst experience my poor Mother-In-Law ever had with a plumbing service (or myself for that matter) The quality of work was so bad, we had to call another plumbing company to come out and fix what Ernie's company did. The smallest of task to replace a valve in the kitchen. What plumber doesn't have sealant? Had to leave to go get it and never came back to finish the job, yet we were charged over $400. Called the company many times only to be told that the person we needed to talk to wasn't there. He wasn't there after many calls and never returned
any messages.

My sweet MIL was completely taken advantage of. Beware of this horrible company

Update: There hasn't been any phone calls. I received a message here on Yelp but no one has called or reached out to my Mother-In-Law. Very unsettling.

They will also show you the problem you are having.
