My kitchen sink had a bad clog and shower was dripping. Called Ernie's. Ernie and his assistant came the next day and I will never call anyone else. They were great and took care of the problem at a very reasonable price. I had paid another plumber more than twice what Ernie charged to change the cartridge in my other shower. I have never felt so strongly about a business to post a review. I will always call Ernie's from now on!

Had a very good experience with Ernie's Discount Rooter Service. Scheduled an appointment for next day service on our leaking shower valve. They called the day of the appointment to let me know around what time frame they should be arriving. They took a look at the leak, knew exactly what was wrong, and fixed it quickly! They were very knowledgeable, courteous, and most importantly honest. The repair bill was very reasonable, no hidden fees or other nonsense. Will definitely use Ernie's again in the future, and recommend to friends and family.

I went to call Ernie's because I had used them in the past with great service, however this time i got a weird response. When they arrived to the site they wanted to get paid before they did the job. I had talked to the lady on the phone and simply said i would rather pay after the job is done. She asked prior if I wanted to be billed and I said sure, but then they didn't have the billing address on record. Then she asked if I would like to give credit card or check information and I said I would prefer the pay after as I didn't know what card I would use based on price and requirements So when they arrived they called to get paid prior to doing the work because they said there were red flags and wanted to get paid first or have the credit card information, so they left because I didn't respond right away to the phone call even though I confirmed service and approved the work. I had called literally 2 minutes after they had called but they had already left. At no time did anyone say they couldn't perform the work without payment first or card information. I had to call someone else because the would not send someone back to do the job even though they probably were still there or at least close by. They actually told me to get someone else. I actually talked to Ernie. He was very terse and had no care of customer satisfaction. It felt like a tow truck passing you by with your hood up, but worse because with Ernie's you have to make appointments and when they fill up your out of luck so you can't count to use them as a dedicated service.That being said this was for a rental property and it was the impression of the tenants that the guy just didn't want to do the work said something about being here before and made assertions about the configuration of the plumbing and problems. but when the last time he was there he was in and out in about 20 minutes. So I did call someone else with excellent services. They did the job and didn't ask about getting paid until the job was done and when it was done I gave them my credit card information and paid them without fail. I think they are complacent and feel they don't need to care about the customer at all and would leave a customer's tenant's with shit backed up to the tubs and showers who have children in the house and put the landlord in a world of hurt to try to find someone in a heartbeat because you waited for Ernie to call back and come to help with service. Very cut throat and Really Shitty. They are no rescue rooter, if you have an emergency think twice.

My kitchen drain was clogged and overflowing, I called Ernie's. I called after 3pm so they couldn't work me in until the next day, but they came at the time they said they would and fixed the drain quick. Prices were great, much less than I expected to pay. The serviceman was clean and nice. The person who answered the phone yesterday understood my problem and gave me an accurate estimate of time and price. They did charge a small percentage because I paid with a card, but that's OK more businesses are doing that and I understand why. I will definitely call Ernie next time I have a plumbing problem!

Ernie once again saved the day and my wallet! Had a plumbing emergency the day before a holiday and Ernie was booked. The other plumbers bid was $290! Ernie made time to come by and he fixed it for $95. I highly recommend Ernie.
