Have to gush a little about them. I've had a knocking of the pipes issue for a month or two. Had one of their well known competitors come in and although we both knew what the problem was, they wanted to charge me over $900.00 to fix! Everyone has experienced plumber shock before, but c'mon!!!

After trying to correct on my own, I gave Ernie Peterson's Plumbing a call. The appointment was scheduled for the next morning. I received a call from Chuck the next day saying he was on the way. He arrived 15 minutes ahead of schedule. Chuck was polite, knowledgeable, explained things to me in a manner easy to understand, did several checks, re-checks and checked again before narrowing it down to the shower in our master bath room. All told, problem was fixed timely (under an hour), priced fairly (about 75% less than those Roto Rooter people), we had a laugh about both of us losing our hair and he was on his way. Highly recommended.

Had a upper bath faucet that wouldnt stop running. Because of plumber bill phobia, we kept trying to address it ourselves. Big mistake, gas and water bill skyrocketed. Finally, called Ernie Peterson Plumbing. Sent over top notch plumber who didnt rip us off. He took care of the issue efficiently and was personable and professional. Bill was a fraction of other quotes and guess what...? Its still fixed. Will be using them for bath remodels if the numbers work out.

Had an excellent experience today. My kitchen faucet needed to be replaced. I was able to make an appointment for the first spot the day after I called. They were upfront about the costs as much as they could be over the phone. And I did end up paying what they quoted me. Keith was very professional and courteous. Even though this my not have been one of the hardest jobs ever, they sure made my life a lot easier. I would definitely call them again if needed.

Had several plumbers come out to give an estimate on a major plumbing problem. All gave us an estimate with no charge. Ernie Peterson came out, never gave us an estimate but charged $135 for a service call. When we called and asked for the estimate, it was never given but was told we must pay the bill. They did say they called with questions and we did not call back. We never got a call and couldn't get the questions when we called and questioned the bill. We have used them in the past but they have certainly lost our business.

If you are looking for an honest, reliable and very friendly plumbing company then Ernie Peterson is the company you should call. We just purchased a used home which needed a fair amount of work. Brett was really great. He gave us a sense of security that our home is in great shape after all of the work he put in. These are genuinely good people. They have been in business for 50 years for a reason. We would highly recommend them to anyone needing a little or a lot of work. Do yourself a favor and call Ernie Peterson first!

Since 1997 I have used Ernie Peterson Plumbing several times at the various houses I have lived at. Over those years they have rated five stars in my book, until yesterday. I called them out to rod out the floor drain in my basement, which they had done for me three times in the past nine years. It was last done in 2014 at a cost of $187 for 90 minutes. Yesterday it cost $387 for 90 minutes! I called to inquire if I was charged correctly and was told floor rodding costs $295 for the first hour and $135 an hour after that. A $200 price jump in three years seems a little excessive.

Shame on me for not asking how much it cost beforehand, but having dealt with them for so long, I assumed it would be the same price, or close to the same price, as in the past. I may use them again in the future, but I'll now be calling others to price compare first. No more calling them and just telling them to come out and do it.

I am a customer of Ernie Peterson Plumbing having just needed a few jobs done in my kitchen for two new items. They did good work and gave me a fair price for parts and labor. But most of all I felt safe letting them into my house. I would recommend Ernie Peterson Plumbing.

like death and taxes, needing a plumber is almost as unavoidable, and finding a good one is almost unattainable -- except for these guys. on time, conscientious, quality work that only cost an arm (not an arm and a leg -- it's all relative, folks). you'll be doing yourself a favor next time you need a plumber, and you can thank me later.
