if I could rate this place a negative number I would. This is the most appalling company I have ever had to deal with. They do not return phone calls, do not know the concept of giving updates. All they know is how to take your money, and then not deliver what they have promised, which equals being a thief! Do yourself a favor and stay away from this dreadful company, save yourself the time and money. We just had another air conditioning company come out, complete the work these people charged us thousands of dollars for a part that was not delivered and the work was completed for a tenth of the price. And our air conditioning is working great now. Dishonest! Thieves! Bad work ethic!

Dane and his team at Erkie's have been taking care of my Palm Spring's home electrical needs for the past 6 years. I have an older home that I purchased with a lot of electrical issues and upgrades needed over the years. They have repaired numerous and various outlets, wiring issues, and installed new lighting and fans throughout. The past couple of years Dana and James have been the guys who service my house and they are so great to work with: knowledgeable, super friendly, conscientious, and always on time. I appreciate how they always check on everything while they are there and educate me on electrical do's and don'ts. Dana installed a brand new 200amp panel for me a couple years ago and it was so worth it! Now I'm having them take care of items for a new kitchen remodel and they continually impress me. Thank you Dana, James, and Dane--you da best!

Plus did complimentary inspection of the rest of house with other plumbing issues to keep on eye on for future work

When I called I was told the service call was like $189. Whoa!
Internet says $25, dispatcher says ok 25, and like 150
To install new drain ring on the kitchen sink. I say ok.
See ya tomorrow between 10am and 2pm. 3:30... still no show I call and dispatcher says tech will text you when he's on his way.
430 he calls says be there in 45 min arrives at 5:30
Says that will be 263 bucks plus the service charge!
No way! I'll find another plumber!
Watch out for the old bait and switch!!

Twice this company has come out to make repairs to my HVAC systems. Each time a technician comes out and does something to our system which messes it up and have to come back for a more costly repair. The Technician in their second visits always is a more experienced tech. They will not even call you back to discuss or make a price adjustment. Be careful - be aware is all I am saying. At this point I do not recommend them. Perhaps you may like their services- I don't. If you are on a fixed income like me I suggest you look into different companies.

Do Not Hire Erkies for Plumbing

We hired Erkies to repipe the entire house for a total of $25000 investment. It's been a nightmare, two floods in both bathrooms, faulty water pressure we've asked them to fix 4 times now (you can't run a hose and a faucet at the same time without one just dribbling) and most recent, we got two quotes from their competitors who both informed us that the repiping was done incorrectly: hot water lines are all mixed up with cold water lines leading to showers, they most likely didn't bleed the lines before completing the project so you get a nice surge of piping hot water in the shower followed by ice cold water at random times and to fix their mistake will cost us between $13,000-$14,000!!!! You can't even take a shower in our home anymore without screaming in pain of being scolded with hot water. Next, something as simple as installing new fixtures in one shower they are unable to do-the valves continually leaked for months, we had their techs out 3 times and still they could not fix it. The last time he just left all the fixtures apart said ""it's fixed!"" and left, didn't even put them back together after an hour tinkering with it. Next morning the valves turned all the way off were pouring out a steady stream of water. One nightmare after another. We finally called another plumber who fixed it in an hour's time for a cost of $600. We have tried to work with them in allowing them to make our nightmare right but they usually don't take out calls and are slow to respond, and when they show up there is never any guarantee they know what they are doing and they leave the repairs in worst conditions. The salesman that sold us their bid took our money and ran, he stopped taking our calls after we signed contract even after saying, ""please contact me if you need anything."" On top of the large expense of having to repipe our home, two weeks having to live somewhere else, we've been exhausted with the ongoing issues and their lack of professionalism and skill in plumbing.

Please take our advice and never hire them for any plumbing needs or anything of that matter, they are awful.

I had used and had good experience. Called for an emergency repair. They came out after hours. Told us what needed and said they'd do it the next day. Never showed up. Two days later called another place that did the work for 1/2 the price. Erkies called that day and left a message. They said they had called the day they were scheduled but hung up w/o leaving a message. When I politely complained, they hung upon me. Never will use again.

Horrible company! Dishonest!!!!! 4 months after A/C unit was installed it stopped working. Erkies wouldn't honor their 1 year warranty! They said we needed a new furnace and duct work and quoted us $11,000 to do the work before they would fix the A/C unit! Why did they install 4 months earlier if that was needed?... Hmmm..... We had another company come out and they said nothing is wrong with our furnace or duct work! New company installed an A/C unit and it has been working great since!
