Oh man. I hate leaving bad reviews... but I would have wanted to know it would be SO much money for such a simple fix- I will say that I made a big error trusting him and not asking him his hourly rate before he I honestly thought he wouldn't overcharge me like that ($225/hour). Eric was relatively responsive during the chaos of the freeze aftermath (wouldn't answer my calls but would text me back eventually) BUT he charged me SO much money! He charged me for 2+ hours of work and the biggest chunk of that was him going Home Depot to get a 6" long piece of plastic pipe (which I'm sure he must have had in the back of his truck) $225 an hour is awfully steep in my opinion. $650 to snake a shower drain (10 min max) and cut out a small piece of sewer pipe and replace it. Yikes... well I guess we don't need to eat for a while. Honestly, I would have been a loyal customer for life and referred him to everyone I knew of that hadn't have been so damn expensive. :( I remarked it was a lot and asked if that was his post-freeze rate and he said no, he wouldn't 'gauge customers' but what the heck does he call this? I feel certain he wouldn't have tried that if I were a man. BEWARE, his rates are HIGH! Ask before you have him come out and know he will be gone for most of the time he charges you for.

Eric was quick to come out and take a look at our old rusted out water heater after it started flooding our garage. Said we'd need a new one but talked me through everything that happened with the previous one as well as how to take care of and maintain the new one. The price was reasonable and he was able to install quickly. Thanks again!

Eric was a lifesaver!! He responded to my request for an appointment quickly and kept me posted on the day of the appointment about his whereabouts. He arrived in a mask and gloves and was very professional. I'll definitely be keeping his card!

Beneath The Slab... The Final Frontier...

These are the voyages of our home-shaped spacecraft. At least, during the pandemic, that's how I've explained it to my kids. We're on a ship, we have limited ability to take shuttles to places, and only at great need. Our food is delivered via Underway Replenishment, and we're on patrol until further orders come in from Starfleet. Or something.

Well, we had a minor problem in engineering. To the tune of 30 gallons an hour. The 3/4" pipe between our utility room and our guest bathroom had ruptured... under the slab.

Enter Eric Stolle Plumbing and The Plumbinator. This amazing tag team of technical experts in the plumbing profession put us right, quickly and without the need to crack into our foundation. I cannot say enough about the timeliness, courtesy or professionalism of both of these companies, and how they exchanged information and expertise to take what might have been a much more extended (and expensive!) process and get it down to a couple of visits and a minimal disruption of water services. When we're telling the kids to pretend we're on a spaceship to make the quarantine more bearable, we kind of need to avoid as much, um, "life support" failure as possible. And these enterprising engineering entrepeneurs made sure the problem was fixed with as little of that as was practicable. My nightowl son pretty much slept through what little water disruption there was.

Folks, if you spring a leak in your... umm... warp core... or something... you can't go far wrong than to employ either or both of these outfits to come put you right again. Mickey The Plumbinator helped us solve a massive issue when we were two weeks in as foster parents, and Eric from Eric Stolle Plumbing has handled issues for us for years as well. In this day and age, it's rare to find companies you can trust who will not steer you wrong. Both companies are dedicated to ensuring you have the best fix for the minimal price, they've got the kind of integrity that gives peace of mind when the rest of the world is going crazy.

I'm grateful to these two companies for getting us back to where we needed to be, when home becomes office and schoolhouse, and we can't afford to be without the necessities of life in our little pretend spaceship. Now, off to the galley to feed the crew. Live Long and Prosper, and may the Force be with you!

Short version: did a poor job, and subsequently refused to answer his phone. Overcharged. Avoid this plumber at all costs!

I had a shower that wasn't working properly, so I hired Eric. He came over, and said the cartridge needs to be replaced. He took a full hour just to get the part (there's a home depot like 10 minutes away), and charged full rate for that. He took a half hour to write up the receipt - also charged full amount for that. The shower handle stopped rotating properly after a few days, and the shower itself doesn't switch modes correctly - clearly he used an incorrect part - two other plumbers agree entirely on this.

Any attempt to contact him after this goes straight to voicemail - calls don't ever get returned. The plumber who recommended him to me no longer recommends him because he's flaky.

Just an awful human to deal with, and a worse plumber.

I called late on a Monday night to leave a message so I could get my plumbing issue resolved early the next morning. To my surprise he answered the phone and made sure to squeeze me in to his already booked day. Fixed the issue immediately, and was responsive to follow up questions. Definitely highly recommended!

Eric has always been professional, thorough, prompt and clean when we've needed his services. Most recently we had 2 water heaters go out within 4 days of each other. Although I had initially bought myself some time to have a neighbor plumber do the work when they had availability by bypassing the first failed heater, after the 2nd one went we couldn't wait for the "friend discount" from my neighbor. I called up Eric Wednesday evening, explained the situation and he quoted a fair price and moved around some work to get to us first thing Thursday morning. He arrived on time, came in with new drop clothes to keep our house clean and dry and got right to work. By the end of the day we had hot water again, the work area was clean (he even grabbed a nearby vacuum and vacuumed his work area and the stairs!), and we weren't taken to the cleaners on the cost to get it all done. Although we now have a neighbor that is a plumber, after another fantastic plumbing service by Eric Stolle Plumbing we'd have a hard time not calling Eric first for any future plumbing needs.

We had the fantastic luck to have 2 water heaters go out within 4 days of each other. When I called Eric Stolle Plumbing he was quick to respond and replaced both heaters at a reasonable price. No price gouging, no messing around, he just got it done! If you need plumbing work, simple, complex, remodel, replace, give him a call.
