Eric C. Foster Plumbing, Heating & Cooling began in Eric's garage in Chelmsford, MA in 1978. At that time, Eric was just a young entrepreneur and running his own business. By dedication, expert service, and steadfast dedication to his clients, Eric has grown to 29 skilled professionals and over 15 trucks. Debbie Foster, Eric's wife was the support of the company, overseeing everything from finances to answering phones, all while nurturing their children. In July 2011, Debbie passed away to cancer. Eric and Debbie's three sons are applying everything their mother shared to enhance the company. Jared manages service operations, Todd stepped into Debbie's position while also being a licensed plumber, and Travis oversees HVAC operations. At Eric C. Eric is the owner and owner of Eric C. Foster Plumbing, Heating & Cooling. He has been fully devoted to making the business successful since he founded it in 1978. If you don't find Eric, on his phone or in the office, he's probably enjoying a motorcycle ride with his family and friends. First, a reasonable estimate from a no-pressure sales fellow (Travis). Today, Zach Menard started and completed the work: capable, efficient, knowledgeable, patient with explaining details. It was a home run hit out of the park. They will be returning in the Spring to replace the central a/c. Definitely, use this company and these people.

Was charged $100 for 20 minutes of ""work"". They moved my dryer over 3 inches, moved my washer over 3 inches. Saw that there was a leak in my washing machine drain hose and did not even have the part on their truck to replace a generic washing machine drain hose. Minimum charge is usually $185 so I guess I should feel lucky that they only charged me $100?

I've been a customer of theirs for many yrs at home and my business. As long as nothing goes wrong, you'll be fine. The water heater at my office was installed by them Sep 2017 started leaking/failed Jun 2020, not even 3y. It supposedly has a 6y warranty on it. Long story short, they're not willing to help at all on it, saying warranty is no longer valid. Taking my business elsewhere.

The worst plumbing and customer service experience that I have ever had. Hired to install a new faucet and drain for my kitchen remodel, and at the end of the job the Senior Plumber yelled ""Oh no"", told the Nashoba Tech intern to get the biggest screwdriver and hammer that he could find in the truck, and then proceeded to pound the drain and pop up with the screwdriver. Left a bent pop up and misaligned drain. I noticed it the next day when the drain kept gurgling after we used the faucet and I inspected the pop up. I could not believe that they would leave a job that they knew was not done right- and, even worse, with a Nashoba Tech High School student watching.
The Customer Service was also terrible. I called with my concerns and they assured me that someone would get back to me- they did not- and sent the bill to Collections after assuring me that would not happen. Customer Service Manager Jared Foster could not have been more arrogant and condescending, and told me ""This conversation is over"", after a series of emails- never bothering to pick up the phone to hear my side of the story. Then they charged me over $233. dollars for this fiasco- never offering any compensation or consolation. Worst ever- maybe they were better when their father was running the company.

I am writing this review in regards to being very unhappy with this company and how they were and interacted with my 75 year old father and his need for a new water heater and piping they came in and told him he needs so much more than he really needed overcharged him made him feel obligated to get other things done that did not need to be done and he ended up paying three to four thousand more than he would have had these people not gone in and done this to him I feel very horrible for my father I feel sad that somebody would take advantage of such an elderly man like them especially where he has served his country in the military and I just don't think it's proper and anybody who can support that is really horrifying to me I think it's just a disgrace

We have used Eric C Foster Plumbing several times. They have connected our gas range, replaced an old hot water heater and replaced a leaking thermal expansion tank. Each time was the perfect experience. They were ""extremely"" responsive when our basement filled with water from the leaking thermal expansion tank. Just what you want when your basement has been flooded and you have no water because you had to shut it off to stop the leaking.

Every time they have come to the house, all the technicians were pleasant and polite. They have always been extremely diligent and competent in the details of their work. They are professional and neat in the execution of the tasks they have performed. They also cleanup completely, with the work area being returned to the condition it was like before whatever the issue was that brought them in for service. Actually, the work spaces were left in better shape than what they found when they arrived.

Their pricing has always been good value for the product and service received. They are the only plumbing company I use. You really need to give them a call if you want quality plumbing services.

I received a bill for $329 for a job that was 1/2 hour long and used minimum parts...and was down the street from them.While the work was ok and the plumber was nice, I think Eric Foster plumbing has a very expensive pricing policy. I called them to complain and they said: it is what it is.

I did not hire Foster for a furnace replacement for one basic reason. Their estimate had this statement in it: ""Owner to carry necessary insurance"". They would not remove it. My homeowners insurance specifically excludes work done under contract. I could not hire this company and cannot recommend hiring any contractor that expects the homeowner to carry insurance for their work.

I just used ECF P&H for a variety of plumbing issues - fix tub drain, fix hot water valve in shower, install new faucet, install new toilet, line to new steam dryer. I found everyone from the office staff to the plumber and apprentice to be friendly, professional, and responsive. In addition, I thought the team that did the work was efficient. We had a minor, sporadic issue that arose after they left but found they were again very friendly, responsive, and took care of the issue to my satisfaction.
