OMG! Eric Brand is an angel of plumbing. I was very skeptical, because my home association only wanted to use him! He knows my condo water shut offs... Well, he is a consummate professional. He is reasonable, and prompt. If you have an emergency, like in my case, my tenant had a shower leak, he came out the same day.

He is also a San Francisco native, and very nice to look at! He answered my questions and was very knowledgeable. I will use him again soon for a toilet upgrade.

I used Eric several months back to replace a 10ft. length of original out flow pipe in my 80 year old home. I had called other plumbers for estimates. 2 came out gave estimates and left me feeling uncomfortable with even letting them touch my plumbing. One that I had used on other occasions and had been very pleased with wouldn't come look at the situation but had me email him photos and then took almost a month with my begging to get back with me with an outrageous estimate.

Eric came out the day after I called him, was very clear in his advice as to how to complete the work without adding on all kinds of things that really didn't need to be done. He also gave an estimate that was very reasonable. He left me with a feeling that he was honest and could be trusted to do a good job thus I decided to have him do the job. He came on time, did the work as expected with no mess or fuss and I couldn't be happier.

I am very picky about who I will hire to do work on my home as many, many contractors and repair people do not live up to what they claim or are problems. Eric was the plumber we all look so hard to find that does honest good work at a fair price.

I will use him again.

Highly recommended! Showed up quickly because he recognized the urgency of the problem (water heater leaked), quickly drained the hot water out, and trouble shoot the issue. He ended up installing a new water heater. The quality of his work is top notch -- he came back several times to check and make sure everything works as it should. I highly recommend Eric. He is someone that you can always count on. He is very knowledgeable, always on time, very polite and easy to get along with. As a woman it is important to be comfortable in the company of a man when the two of you are alone in the house. There have been a couple of handyman/plumbers/construction guys that I wasn't comfortable to have in my home alone. Anyway, his price is very reasonable, he truly cares about taking care of your plumbing needs and goes above and beyond.

I just purchased a home on Noriega St. in the Central Sunset and discovered that both showers upstairs were leaking through to the garage floor below.

I was really scared about all the possibilities of where the leaks were originating from and was expecting a really large bill to repair.

I called Eric in the morning and we set a appointment for the same day in the afternoon. He was super polite, easy to get a hold of and arrived right on time.

He evaluated the situation and gave me honest, clear direction on how to repair the problem quickly and cost effectively. I even left him alone while he did the repair and everything was fixed when I returned home. In fact I still need to pay him!

All in all a great experience, I will definitely use him again.

Just before moving to our new place, we realized that water heater was not working.

We called 3 different places, so 3 technicians came to give us an estimate.
Eric was the first one to tell us that our heater was installed very unusual way and it would not be easy to replace it. Another guy said that his company would not that job and the third guy gave us the estimate with so astronomical number .....
We decided to deal with Eric. He did a great job. He kept us informed about ordering supplies, everything was done in time.
Eric has excellent reviews on Yelp and we ad another one!

God bless guys like Eric. When you have issues with water or pipes, he is your man! He quickly diagnosed and fixed a weird and loud knocking sound in the pipes we had every time our front load washing machine started its initial cycle. He removed our old sink and installed our new kitchen sink, quickly and with minimum inconvenience to us. He is very capable and smart. He also is very professional. He calls to confirm, he arrives on time, he sticks to estimates, and charges less where ever he can, not more. I've been so happy with him I told him a good business slogan could be, ""Eric Brand Plumbing, Making Women Happy All Over the City"" except that's sexist and it precludes all the happy male customers out there! Call Eric.

Eric was fantastic to deal with! We called him about our leaky water heater and he was able to come out and replace it with a better one and help us determine the best placement for it. The prices were reasonable, he was responsive and educated us well and everything is working great! We are now calling him regarding our sewer line and he picked up right away. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs plumbing work.

We were very lucky to find him on Yelp, where he has very good reviews, so we decided to give him a call. We had a clogged shower that was dripping into the garage, and then water started backing up into the tub. So can't use the sink too long as it backs up in shower and tub. Eric came over on Easter Sunday. Worked really hard to unclog with small electric snake without much success. He came back after lunch and hooked up his large heavy duty electric snake and finally got thru a really stubborn blockage and cleared it.. . We are very happy with his work. Took him longer than original estimate, but his rate was reasonable and he did good work. We definitely will use him again.
