I used Equal Rooter for a job that coast me over $9000 and had to pay another company to finish the job looks like they didn't know how too do the job but took the job anyway they was looking at you tube as they was doing the job learning as they go unknowledgeable about there work so that make them unprofessional in my opinion I would highly NOT recommend this Equal Rooter company for anything but using a plunger .

I had a five o'clock alarm emergency and Kevin and his crew came immediately without any hesitation. As soon as they arrived the problem was evaluated and a solution was addressed. I was walked through the entire process and watched everything take place. Not once did I feel like more work was being done than required. Kevin is a straightforward guy and if you look up honesty in the dictionary his picture will show up. After the job was done Kevin and his crew helped repair another (much smaller) job again without hesitating. I felt like I was family! I've used their services twice more and have felt 100% confident when I referred them to others both personally and professionally. Thanks for all you do!

We had a cast iron pipe break under our house and Equal Rooter was recommended to us from a family member's friend. Kevin and his team were very informative and easy to get in touch with. They came out and did a fantastic job replacing our broken lines and cleaning out a clog that was further down than I could reach. Several plumbers came out and most didn't want to do the job. The ones that were able to do the job were extremely expensive. Kevin, came out and explained what needed to be done and quote us a reasonable price considering the extensive work that was required. absolutely amazing service from the moment I met a Kevin Hughes and his team with Sheldon. Kevin spoke with me with patience, and he took the time out to explain to me how the cast iron would be lined. They provide camera footage to show the customer and they were honest and always checked in with the customer three times a day to see how we were doing during the process, and if we had any questions during the process. His team worked very hard every day all day even in the extreme heat I would highly recommend Equalrooter to anybody who needs their pipes lined hands down BEST experience!

February 18th, 2020 I hired Equal Rooter Plumbing, """"Equal Rooter LLC"""" to reroute a cracked sewer line in my home. The repair entailed redirecting the """"sewer contents"""" from both of my bathrooms to a different portion of my property. Kevin Hughes was referred to me through one of my neighbors who was a plumber. I hired Kevin Hughes and he provided me with his license, insurance information and a contract. The total cost for rerouting was $11,250.00. The work was completed on March 9th 2020. I paid him the remaining balance. At that time it appeared that the job was completed. A few months later my wife, family heard scratching throughout the house. I started having extreme rats problems. I contacted a pest control contractor. Rats were coming into my attic. I checked every access point for entry but there were not coming in from the roof or the ac vents. The pest control contractor could not find any openings or access points either. I then contacted Kevin Hughes """"Equal Rooter"""" asked him if he capped the open sewer line under my house. He brushed me off and told me """"my rat problem was not his plumbing problem"""", which is still in my phone. I then hired the pest control contractor to inspect the sewer line to see if it was capped. IT WAS NOT. """"Equal Rooter"""" left a open sewer line causing sewer gases and rats to come under my house. I paid the exterminator $2600.00 for excavation, the capping of the open sewer line and elimination of the rats. It was determined that I needed """"rat remediation"""" to ensure the health of my family and to remove all feces. This cost and additional $3200.00. I continued throughout to try and reach Kevin Hughes """"Equal Rooter"""" with no resolution. I did finally receive a response from him advising he would pay $1800.00 if I signed a release but never received anything or correspondence. Since then my phone calls are going unanswered AGAIN and I would like compensation for the additional money spent of $5800.00 for negligence.
