Jacob is a true professional! I reached out on short notice and he was able to come out the same day and assess the project I had (installing 2 water submeters). He was well informed and broke everything down and went into detail about the steps of the work. Top of the line customer service and not only will I be using him for all plumbing projects moving forward but I would recommend him to anyone looking for plumbing services!
Brett N.Our tankless hot-water unit a few days ago (this is not a post to discuss Gardner water issues...haha), and we called Epoch Plumbing to help us and we couldn't be more impressed with the service they provided to get us up and running again.
They came over quickly after we called and assessing the issue, they helped us by calling the manufacturer and helped convince that despite that the previous owners of the house didn't register the wall unit for the warranty that it was no fault of us and got the company to cover the unit under the warranty which saved us thousands of dollars.
Epoch quickly was able to get a new wall unit within a day and despite having to do some additional work with the piping as the newer unit had some different aspects than out older unit, stayed late on a Friday night to get us up and running by the weekend.
We couldn't be happier with the service we received, and we will 100% go with Epoch Plumbing for any plumbing related issues going forward and highly recommend that you do also.
Carol W.I tried really hard to be patient with Jacob, the owner. I had a Toto toilet that had a slow drip in the tank. I had already replaced the flapper and the flush valve. He tried changing the flush valve with another one I had. Jacob looked at it and said it could be the gasket. Gave me an estimate of over 400.00 to fix it but suggested that I replace the toilet. The price was outrageous. I said lets forget the toilets for now. As I was not going to pay that amount and reluctant to replace a 900.00 Toto toilet due to a dripping in the tank. He gave me a quote of 235.00 to change a cartridge in my Toto faucet. I thought it was overpriced but since he came out, I said go ahead and repair the faucet. The lever to the faucet was tight, I thought it might be time to replace the cartridge. He took it apart, he said the cartridge I bought was incorrect. He offered to go to Republic plumbing to pick up the part for an extra 25.00. Since I was home with the baby, I told him to go get it. After installing the cartridge, the water wouldn't turn on. He called Toto support for probably the 5th time asking for help. He said sometimes when you open something up, it could open up another can of worms. Could be the water. Could be a build up. Gave me every possible excuse. I said it's not the water. I have 3 other bathrooms and don't have problems with the water. He eventually, removed the control valve in order to get water in the faucet. But created a bigger problem. The water splashes everywhere. Another problem I didn't have before he touched it. I went to the plumbing store today to get a new control valve. They said the piece pops out and you just rinse it and pop it back in. But I needed to buy a new gasket for it because Jacob threw the old ones out. The toilet he looked at is no longer dripping, it's running water in the tank. The faucet that was working is not working correctly, after Jacob tried to repair it. What should of taken 30 minutes, took him 11am. - 5pm
Yes, I did waste my whole day at home, while I had plans that afternoon. I actually, paid for this inconvenience for Epoch plumbing to create a bigger problem for me. Jacob is obviously inexperienced and charges outrageous prices. His solution is to try to get you to replace everything.
