They did ultimately come back and do the work on our home. We have a pretty difficult house. They needed to come back repeatedly, but it has helped.

Exceptionally professional service in every way, from scheduling by phone and showing up on time, to careful diagnosis and recommendations for service and repair. For my plumbing issue, the technician Justin took care to photograph the problem in the crawl space, explain the issue and thoroughly answer my questions, and then performed the repair providing me with updates on his progress. He was very conscientious about protecting my home interior and carpet from damage as he moved damage/old plumping out of the house. The work estimate was accurate and the price of the repair was quite fair. I will definitely give my future business to E-Works.

We used Environmental Works to receive a second opinion after Alpha Environmental quoted us with $8,000 in repairs to the sewer line at the house we are buying in the Raleigh Hills area. Environmental Works determined that Alpha Environmental had scoped the wrong pipe (Alpha scoped the storm drain instead of the sewer line). After scoping the correct sewer line, they assured us that no repairs were needed and we were all very relieved.
Environmental Works was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a sewer scope that is done right the first time!

Update on previous comments. EW responded to my complaint with an apology and offer to pay for the sealing work I had done. Water leak was a bit of a mystery that the other companies also did not fix. My
Handyman found the leak in the pipe joint and sealed it. Thanks for responding, apologizing and offering to make it right.

We had a great experience with environmental works for sewer scoping, radon testing, soil testing and decommissioning an oil tank on a new property we purchased. Everything was performed cleanly, timely and with a very clear explanation. Will gladly use them again and recommend them to others.

We had our 50+ year old oil furnace replaced with a gas furnace and needed to decommission our oil tank. Our heating contractor (First Call) recommended Environmental Works. When the first soil samples were collected they showed the tank had leaked. The project manager, Andy Truong, clearly explained the next steps (more samples and lab tests per DEQ requirements) and costs. All the workers who came to our property were professional and considerate. I would definitely recommend this company.

We purchased our home before it was common practice to decommission oil tanks. When getting our home ready to sell, we hired Environmental Works to decommission the tank. It turns out, the tank had leaked a large quantity of oil. The remediation process is stressful, because it is done step by step, and you don't know how much work it will take to meet the DEQ standards. Each step is more complicated and more costly, and can add up to tens of thousands of dollars. Dave, the project manager was wonderful to work with. He was so reassuring and explained the process in detail. He made a very stressful situation so much better! We were also on a pretty tight timeline because another contractor was scheduled to do work on our house. Dave made sure that everything got done on time.
The crew worked hard, barely even taking a break. They had to bring an excavator up and down our driveway and around the side of the house, in a pretty small area. They worked diligently to remove as much of the contaminated soil as possible, without getting too close to the foundation. In the end, they removed nearly 17 tons of soil, and were able to satisfy the DEQ requirements without needing to resort to more costly measures. When the work was done, you could barely tell that they had been there.
Early on in the project, they made a mistake which caused some oil to leak into the basement. I understand why it happened and the situation was handled well, so I actually have more respect for them because of it. You can really find out how much integrity a company has by seeing how they handle problems. This is a great company and I highly recommend them.

We purchased a home and the seller's hired Environmental works to put in a radon mitigation system as part of the closing. I was dissatisfied with the post mitigation results of 2.0 radon levels, as I had children playing and sleeping in the basement. Sol Migliaccio at Environmental Works assured me that 2.0 pCi/L was still below the EPA accepted level of 2.7 pCi/L. Nevertheless, Sol came to my home 4 months later to ensure the radon system was properly working and also told me how to order a long term radon test at a low cost from Air Check, Inc. for peace of mind. I ran the test for 5 months through winter season and the results still came back at 2.0 pCi/L levels. Sol agreed to install a larger fan on the existing system, free of charge, to ensure my satisfaction. A subsequent short-term test, following installation of the larger radon system fan, indicated trace radon levels of less than 0.3 pCi/L (equivalent to outdoor air radon levels). What a relief!! I am extremely satisfied with the customer service and attention to detail by Sol. He went above and beyond my expectations. I would highly recommend Environmental Works to anyone needing radon mitigation! They have a fantastic warranty as well.

The person who came out to talk me through the project and the tech who installed were both very nice people. However, they routed a radon pipe on a visible side of our chimney when they could have put it on the opposite. I feel like that is something they should have thought through and talked about prior since radon mitigation is first priority but to a homeowner, the aesthetic of a white pipe on the visible side of the house is pretty important. They said they could fix it but would charge me. The reason I'm mostly unhappy with the resolution of this is that I have contacted them since discussing the reroute with them via email and radio-silence. I just don't have time to deal with this.

I had the great pleasure of having Jon from Environmental Works help complete a job at my residence. I had an unfortunate break in my main water line. After many calls to plumbers, I was told I would also need someone to do directional drilling. Time and time again, Environmental Works was recommended. I went ahead and shopped for some quotes from other companies but ultimately decided on hiring EW. Jon is one of the most friendliest guys I have spoken with concerning house related repairs. He was very informative and unlike a few others, I never felt like he was focused on a profit versus genuinely wanting to do the best job for the best price. He delivered! He discovered I would need flaggers since I live on a high traffic road and took care of all required permits for the job. They were very flexible and got me scheduled right away. The day of the appointment, him and his crew, along with flaggers showed up on time and got right to work. I was thrilled with how organized and team oriented they all were. Before I knew it, they were finished and picked up the area as if they were never there. Jon even called me the next day to make sure the plumber was able to complete his portion of the job and to make sure everything went well and that I had water finally running again. That was extra nice! I must add that it was pretty cool to watch the drill action and how precise it is. Very impressive piece of machinery!
Long story short, I highly recommend hiring Environmental Works. They do exceptionally great work for an affordable rate. I am very satisfied with the entire process from start to finish!
