Spoke with Eric today about some services i was considering. After a very helpful conversation i have decided to wait. Eric was thorough, informative, and more than willing to talk me out of spending money i don't have right now. It is great to find a business these days that is honest enough to chase away immediate work in favor of customer service. Though i can't presently recommend their work, i can highly recommend them for intelligence and integrity; and i will certainly call them for future needs.

Eric and his team were fantastic! So easy to work with - super responsive, professional, and provided a great service at a very fair price. They pumped my 1200 gal. tank out in West Marin last November, didn't charge travel, made an appointment and came out without delay. I've been meaning to write this review for a while - am very appreciative of their terrific service and recommend them highly.

They may be good dumper plumbers, but they have at least one lousy driver on their staff. He made a right turn on a red light onto Highway 12 east over by Willie Bird's today about 1:15 pm without stopping or even slowing down while traffic was moving. That was a bv!!$#!+ move if ever I saw one.
If one is going to drive around with one's name on one's truck, one ought not drive like $#!+.

E.P.S. came to my home today in Blackpoint, on the Petaluma River. My septic tank was tanking (sadly, my fault); it had not been pumped in quite a pile of stinky years. The team of Eric (Co-Owner) and Ryan, his hard-working assistant, came to the rescue! They were friendly, and they seem to love their work. When they arrived this morning, they explained to me all the stages of the work they were doing. (I wore a gas mask.) This company works hard. They are able to complete most jobs in an hour. For those of us (sitting or standing) who use our toilet seats, ... E.P.S. is GREAT NEWS!

Remarkable owner and superb service. When I said I wanted my tank pumped he politely asked how long it had been, size of tank and how many people in residence. Since it had only been two years and only my wife and I at home, he said ""I really don't think you need to have it pumped right now."" I still wanted it done due to a number of roots coming through the redwood boards, and he arrived in two hours, did the work and charged $150 less than Roy's Septic Service has charged in the past. Roy's had put me on ""the waiting list"" for over a month so I had decided to move on with someone new. Highly professional and gave me some information to help for the future. EPS and Eric Hawley can't be beat.

The service and thorough work from this group deserves to be well recognized! I had to laugh as the 80's movie ""grass grows greener over the septic tank"" came to mind as we hunted in the yard. Good sense of humor too!

This has to be the greatest company ever. Just had my tank pumped after maybe 20 years. They showed up on time, encouraged me to watch and ask questions, and charged me such a fair price that I was almost embarrassed by it, given how long it had been since it had been pumped. Blaine was just great. I cannot recommend this company enough. I now know that I can keep this septic system going for many more years.

If you need your septic tank drained don't call anyone but E.P.S., period! Eric came out to my place 4 years ago and discovered my tank had 2 compartments, one of which had never been pumped. How did their competition miss this? I called in July ' 14 to have it drained again. Blaine told me on the phone that since there are only 2 people in my home it probably didn't need it. He offered to come out and inspect it and advise me of his findings, which he did. He came out looked inside the tank and told me it wouldn't need draining for another 2 to 3 years and said he would contact then to remind me. What more can you ask?

A guy named Eric came out. He was very nice and seemed to do a good job of pumping out our septic tank. (But how can one tell?) He alerted us to the fact that it was caving in. (It's an old black poly tank, noted for such failures).
Unfortunately, he recommended a guy to come and look at it and advise us on what to do about it. After he had done some work (now noted to be inadequate and extremely shoddy by some properly licensed contractors), we found out he was not only working as a contractor without a license, but also has a reputation in both Sonoma and Marin counties for illegal and substandard work.
The Marin county issues and lack of a contractor's license were confirmed by their Environmental Health Department. A very helpful conversation with the Contractor's State License Board turns up only two licenses that expired about 30 years ago. A call to the Sonoma County Permit and Resource Management office is awaiting return.
In my opinion, this reflects very poorly on EPS.

These guys did a great job on a tough septic pump-out. This tank was probably 25 ft. below the road level and they were able to get the job done. Cost a bit over $300, but that seemed fair to me. Give them a call.
