My company began in November of 2010. What began as a small mom-and-pop shop has grown into a full-service HVAC company employing more than 40 people. The company has advanced to a cutting-edge facility that houses installation, service, repair, and maintenance technicians ready to support homeowners with their HVAC needs. Environmental Heating and Air Solutions holds both a C-20 (HVAC) and a C-36 (Plumbing) license.

Hi, I’m Matthew Evans. I call Roseville home, where I live with my 13-year-old son Brenden and my 2-year-old son Caden. I entered the HVAC industry in 2004. Before my HVAC career, I was a police officer. I started Environmental Heating and Air Solutions to build a strong business model that helps homeowners and business owners navigate their heating and air conditioning requirements. We provide clients with fundamental HVAC insights and solutions designed to reduce their bills using the most efficient, effective, and environmentally friendly products. I truly love what I do and am passionate about helping individuals solve their HVAC problems, reduce their utility expenses, and improve their home’s comfort.

We had a great experience with Environmental Heating and Air Solutions. We recently learned that our home needed to have its AC and furnace replaced and had no idea what to expect with this pricing or pricing. As Costco members, we learned they provided HVAC replacement services and engaged with a sales rep through them from Environmental. We scheduled an appointment at our home and within a week they had a rep come out to our house, assess our needs, and sit down with us to explain the process. The sales rep was great, he explained everything to us so we could understand it being we had no experience with it. He also wasn't creepy-salesy which often times turns us away from these vendors. He was able to design a system for us that was efficient and would give us dual zoning. They also had the added benefit of giving us a gift card of 15% cash back to Costco and 2% back for being a Costco executive member. All in all, while their pricing may not have been initially the most affordable, the pricing after the cashback was more than competitive. We also had some follow up questions for the sales rep before we decided to move forward and he was very responsive. Ultimately, we moved for with them as our installer and they were literally at our house installing our system within two weeks which was quick given other projects we've done recently at our house. The installers were super friendly, very patient when explaining to us the installation process or answering our questions, and they did a really good job of installing the final product. They didn't cut corners and we had no issues or added costs as a result of their all in one pricing. They also installed digital thermometers on both our floors so we could control the climate depending on where we planned to be in the house which would make our electric use even more efficient. The technology is modern so we were pleased. It took them two days to install everything and they were willing to stay as late as needed to answer our questions and work around our work schedules. They were thorough and tested everything once installed. Last, they walked us through the steps of what we needed to do to get it inspected which I appreciate because I had no idea that we had to do this.

Overall, we are extremely happy with the end results and would recommend this vendor to anybody especially to anyone with a Costco membership.

I have been extremely happy with Environmental Heating and Air. Their service is great and consistent. I had three calls this year. The first was to check the work of an earlier heating company, the second was a failure in the compressor of my 30 year old system and the third was for my yearly maintenance. Ben came to the first two calls, was honest and didn't ""create"" work. Just honestly did a good repair job in a very respectful way. Hans came to my yearly maintenance and went through both systems. He took his time, educated me on my options and upgrades but didn't make me feel pressured at all to make a purchase. Fantastic people, I am very happy with this company.

Find someone reliable!
I called Environmental Heating & Air to set up my appointment to have my heater maintained.
The day before my appointment they called to reschedule because of ""an emergency "". I had rescheduled my work schedule so not happy about it but they put me down for a 9:00 am arrival time the following week.
Shortly before 9:00 on the day of the appointment, I get a call (that I missed but they left a voicemail).
I call the number back BEFORE listening to the VM and she says they have to move me to 12:00-4:00 instead because of a ""meeting that the technician has to attend"". After I complain that it's literally the 2nd time I've been pushed out, she says ok how about 2-4 pm?
I hung up with her and listen to the VM and that message says ""they have a customer with no heat so we need to move you!""
All their stories are inconsistent, they lie, are completely unreliable and if you have to potentially spend $$$ on a heater, find someone else.

This is my second review for this company. After 10 years, we had a visit from the most professional, knowledgeable and enthusiastic technician I have run across in many years. He takes professionalism to a new geeked out level and needs to be well recognized. Carey Sommer is fairly new to the company and had never been to our house. He was thorough, inspected, cleaned, adjusted and explained in detail the status of our 12 year old system. This is a true professional to the highest degree. Kudos!!

These guy changed out my coil of our Carrier unit located inside the closet of our house ! A very tight area with not much room to operate are in.
They sent over a service tech who luckily had the right physique to wedge hisself in there to remove and replace .
I just want to say well done EH&A And their great guys and service .i have to mention Matt their lead guy in this job he was outstanding and most of all very professional!
