I launched my business in November 2010. It has transformed from a small operation with one employee into a comprehensive HVAC service provider with over 40 staff members. Our facility now features state-of-the-art technology for installation, service, repair, and maintenance, ready to assist homeowners with all HVAC requirements. We are licensed with a C-20 (HVAC) and a C-36 (Plumbing) certification.
Hello, my name is Matthew Evans. I reside in Roseville with my thirteen-year-old son Brenden and my two-year-old son Caden. I entered the HVAC industry in 2004. Prior to this, I worked as a police officer. I established Environmental Heating and Air Solutions to develop a solid business model aimed at helping both homeowners and business owners with their heating and air conditioning challenges. Our goal is to equip customers with basic HVAC information and solutions that help decrease their bills with the most efficient, effective, and green products. After discovering water dripping from our light fixture and closet frame, and discovering a pool of water under our AC, I called multiple companies who could not come out for several days ( in this massive heat wave we are experiencing). I called Environmental the next morning, close to tears, and Brandi (the office manager) could not have been any kinder or more understanding. She promised me she would get someone out as soon as she could, and true to her word, actually got someone within three hours. Sergio was the technician-and a more professional and knowledgeable person we could not have asked for. Turns out that the company that installed our unit (only a year ago) did not put in a emergency drain pan (which is not legal and not within code). Sergio has been working nonstop for the last two hours to make sure that EVERYTHING is up and working for us.
I simply cannot recommend this company enough!

After a hot spell our heat pump was no longer able to cool our house. Based on Yelp reviews I started calling vendors. Environmental was the second place I called, and they were able to come out the same day, so we went with them. The technician arrived promptly, was tidy and courteous. I described the symptoms and he quickly identified the problems. After replacing a blown capacitor he was able to demonstrate that the refrigerant level was slightly low, and patiently explained all the ways this could have happened and how it would make a difference to properly balance the levels. He estimated 2-3 lbs but was able to bring the system up to spec with 1.5 lbs. Very satisfied with the service and they guarantee their work for a year.

just do your research on youtube before they arrive so that you can be ""educated"" - and then watch them do their thing...
I did this, and it worked out great with these people! They weren't scammers.

Bought their service on Groupon and called them to come out and clean our Airduct several weeks back. They couldn't make the data I originally wanted (2 weeks in advance), so we I selected a 2nd date (3 weeks out). Well the day came and they didn't show up. I called and the lady on the phone said they tried calling me and got a cell phone error (the subscriber you are trying to reach....). She thought that my appointment was for Monday, and I told her no it was for today Friday. She put me on hold for a few minutes and said oh, yes, I got my time stamps mixed up. Huh? I asked her how many times she tried calling me, she said 1 time. Only 1 time and if the cell site was down (which I don't believe it was), you let your customers sit at home and just wait for your technicians? Funny, I gave them my work cell and it has been working fine all yesterday, today and the days before. Such bad service! I asked why she needed to cancel, she said not enough services calls in my area and the technicians won't come out for just one job. I looked at their ad and it says call for an appointment we services within a 60 mile radius and I am about 30 miles away from them. Nothing on their site or ad says we have to have multiple jobs in the area to come out.
Then she said they could come on a Sunday (one week from today), but that day wouldn't work for me. Then on hold for another few minutes and she gave me a date almost 1 month from today. I asked why so far, she said that is the only day we have other appointments near you. Are you kidding me? I told her to forget it and I will be asking for a refund from Groupon. I also told her that I think their service is terrible and I can't believe that they would cancel a paid customer... I was afraid that if the other people who had service should cancel where would that leave me?
Really come on, with today's economy small business should be grateful for business and not screw potential customer around. Not only am I canceling my order, but I never ever recommend them to anyone which is why I am posting a negative response here.

A couple days after my review, I received a personal email from the owner apologizing and was returned my initial fee. I was very impressed by how professional and caring they were, so I think they deserve a second chance. Also was told our tech is no longer with the company. I really appreciate them taking the time to try to make it right. Thank you Environmental!

I've searched online and interviewed at least three other companies prior to taking on one more, I had an unsettling feeling with all three and I didn't want to just ""accept"" what was presented to us. The chose local and big box vendors. At this point, it wouldn't hurt to listen to one more. Once I contacted EHAS, I received a call back the same day, on a Sunday afternoon and scheduled a meeting.
No other estimates compared to the information, knowledge, service I initially received. We are not experts in HVAC systems but as a homeowner you want to make the best and hopefully right decision on big ticket items. With this said, I felt extremely comfortable at the initial ""sales"" meeting. The information provided with were standard (and we learned during the entire process what questions to ask and learned things we never knew before about HVAC systems). What stood out with EHAS was the knowledge, confidence in his staff, products, company and what he will stand by to do if something went wrong at no additional charge to us. The installation and follow up was also outstanding.
Though it's only been a month, we've had to use both, heating and air, and knock on wood, have been completely satisfied. Sometimes projects can hit a glitch, the entire project from the beginning to finish to rebate process was seamless.
The true test will be summer in full force....to be continued.

I called Environmental Heating and Air Solutions to come to my home and do some maintenance on my system before the warm weather arrives. I figured there would be a repair or two that needed to be taken care of since we hadn't had the system looked at in a while. The service tech came out and took his time explaining the suggested repairs and went over the tune-up that he did complete. We bought the yelp deal to help reduce the cost of the tune-up but ended up using it towards the repairs. Very professional company, I would recommend to my friends to use as well. Thanks EHA!

Remember what it feels like to receive great customer service?? Maybe not, but these guys are top-notch. The team at EHA is very knowledgeable about their products, services, and the industry. They are professionals in the business and can troubleshoot just about anything too. In this day and age, great service and great people are hard to find so definitely give this team a call - even if it is just for a quick quote. Matt was extremely responsive, knows his stuff...and most importantly, knows the customer comes first.

Amazing service, fair prices and great follow up!

Its been a year and it still feel the ick from these guys....
I called these guys when I needed to replace my whole 'combo' unit as they call it. They seemed nice over the phone and said they'd come out and give me a quote. After the tech check out the situation he went on and on about how he wasn't in sales but they he could give me a great deal on a new system. Even went to the trouble of a charade of calling his manager to get me a great price.
Something seemed fishy and I had two other companies come out and give me quotes - both were HUNDREDS of dollars cheaper.
These guys are wearing environmentalism on their sleeves, but aren't authentic.
