We arranged for an estimate for AC replacement via Costco and this is the company that contacted us. After being given a 2pm-6pm appointment time and verifying this twice with the company, Hans showed up an hour and a half early without getting my okay while my spouse was busy working and I was not home. Estimator assumed that the house should get same size AC unit as we have currently even though home is way more energy efficient now with insulation and dual pane windows. Normally only use AC about 3 times per year now. He promised to email estimates. Two weeks later, I had to contact the company to receive the estimates which were very high. Would not recommend.

We hired this company through Costco to replace our home's entire HAVC system 3 years ago and have been on their maintenance plan ever since. Patrick, their senior technician, came yesterday to do the maintenance. He was through in his work and discovered some issues other technicians might have missed. Great company! They came out quick, the technician Carey identified the issue with our AC unit, provided an honest assessment of our aging unit and a list of options for us. Recommend to anyone. Hard to find responsive HVAC company, with the experience and parts on hand to do the job right.

We contracted with this firm thru Costco for a needed replacement of our current aging AC system. The installers showed up right on time, were very polite professional and respectful of our property. Turns out that they were not able to deliver what was promised in terms of an improved filtering system that was supposed to be installed on the top of our furnace, as, the spatial logistics of the doorway did not allow for the installation (as the salesman had originally promised). But the installers made do, and it turns out that the interior AC outlet power connection did not have to be relocated after all. They were done after about 5 hours and everything appears to be working very well, our AC cooling is now far better than it was before.

It's just too bad that the coordination between what the salesman promised and what we actually got, (although really a minor issue overall....) couldn't have been fleshed out a little better ahead of time.

However ultimately, we're very satisfied with the product that was delivered and installed.

Our air conditioning unit had poor airflow and was not very cool. Initially I booked an appointment with Environmental Heating & Air Solutions through Google. Much to my dismay, no one showed up for the scheduled 2 hour time frame. I called the company and apparently this was a new system that scheduled only tentative appointments which was not clearly stated. Even with the sour taste I decided to give them a try.

The next day Kevin came to service our unit and he must have forgotten his cape in the vehicle when he came because he definitely saved our day. He transformed that foul experience into a once in a lifetime kind of experience. Kevin was very personable, very knowledgeable, thorough, had incredible integrity, and never pressured us into any decisions. He always gave us all of our options, explained what he was doing, and just made us feel empowered in our HVAC decisions. He even saved us money from not having to do unnecessary leak detection tests when he discovered the refrigerant leak. Outside of just doing his job, he went above and beyond by educating me about our HVAC system and various ways to maintain it. Now I actually know what these parts do.

At the end of the day, we recharged our refrigerant and will need a coil replacement to sustain our cooling needs. The coil replacement is costly because it's a laborious task but we couldn't be in better hands. We went from detractors to becoming members all thanks to Kevin. Who knew getting our a/c serviced could be such an incredible experience.

I only wish that I could give a better rating, but my experience has been completely messed up and disappointing.

I purchased a replacement HVAC system from Environmental Heating & Air Solutions through my Danville Costco. It was a major replacement of our existing system, thus it was expensive, but a true investment in our home.

Despite multiple efforts, the system was installed and the system did not work out of the box! A $26,000 system did not work! The company tried to send over a replacement part to repair the system, but that did not work. I am now waiting for another visit and another part replacement on a NEW system. This is completely unacceptable and I have been in touch with the owner about my experience.

I now have major concerns about the reliability of this system and feel trapped by my purchase. is this a lemon of a unit? Will this unit fail in the future? Why does the team now know how to get this new unit working?

Lastly, I have requested that this situation be taken care of or I will have to file formal complaints against Costco & Environmental Heating & Air Solutions.
