We own a rental house. We called Enviro Plumbing on September 28th to unclog a
bathtub drain. I was there when his plumbers arrived and I advised them that there were two clean outs available, but the plumbers insisted on going thru the
tub drain.

When they were finished working they showed me the drain stopper and said it should be replaced. Later the tenant told me the stopper did not work. Eventually I found out that the plumbers had damaged the bathtub drain,and it was leaking under our house.

The owner of Enviro Plumbing, Danielle, called me on the Monday following their visit and insisted we pay immediately, which we did, although I was unhappy, since we knew the stopper didn't work. We did not know the drain was damaged at that time. So, mistakenly, we sent out a check.

I have repeatedly called Enviro Plumbing, hoping they would at least call me back to discuss the damage, and the possibility of returning our $125 payment. I am very disappointed in the poor business practice of Enviro Plumbing, and would not recommend them to anyone.

Not interested in doing any of the work I inquired about, too busy to articulate exactly why or to offer another option, or to suggest I call back later. So, zero customer service from the get go.I guess this is the way of the world now. I miss old school businesses. Bummer.

I can't recommend Enviro Plumbing enough. I have used them several times for emergency rotor cleaning to clean the main line of our house to the street. They always are able to fit us in an emergency and save things from becoming a huge disaster. The owner is super nice and the plumbing guys who have come to the house have also been super nice, helpful and cleaned up after they finished the work (which I really appreciated!!). I recently had to hire them again to fix the mess Sears left behind when I ordered a new washer. Enviro Plumbing was able to magically fit me in at the last minute and get all the hoses and shut off valves set up before Sears returned with my washer. I definitely recommend hiring them if you are getting a new appliance rather than counting on Sears or Best Buy to install. It will save you a lot of hassle. They always use top quality products like metal hoses over plastic, so it will last a long time. Originally I found them here on Yelp with 5 star reviews and so happy I did!!

First rate all the way! What a pleasure to deal with Daniel, the owner, and Angel & Pepe for what turned out to be an aggravating, complicated job. The removal of a water heater shouldn't be so, but since we just moved in this year, & found out the previous owner should've definitely replaced, we called Daniel's co. That's when we found out that the builders had built a closet tightly around the water heater--on the roof, 4 flights up (!), making it very challenging to remove, & then equally as challenging. Daniel had Pepe and Angel, clearly experienced plumbers working on it for much longer than originally thought, but didn't charge us extra for all the extra time and effort. The guys also moved our disposal, & some other small jobs--all w/a smile, professionally, & quickly (after the water heater!)
Professional, reliable, accommodating & knowledgeable--won't hesitate to use them if we need to in the future.

I asked everyone I knew for a referral for a good plumber, and not a one could offer up a plumber they could wholeheartedly recommend without qualifications. I've owned a 1950s Santa Monica condo for the past 15 years, so I've known my share of mediocre, sloppy or overpriced local plumbers. I recently needed a new toilet and new bathroom sink fixture, and of course all of my localized water shut offs were old and non-functional (which meant I needed to shut off the water for the entire building to work in my bathroom)... Yelp led me to Enviro Plumbing, and I am absolutely relieved and happy to report that I now have a fully functional bathroom and everything went smoothly.

Daniel quoted me a price on the phone, listened to me carefully, and then went on to do exactly what he said he was going to do, and when he was going to do it. He and his staff were punctual, considerate and went the extra mile to clean up after themselves when they were done. When I needed a follow-up, Daniel was quick to address my needs. He definitely takes clear communication and customer service seriously.

I can highly recommend this company! Our toilets were blocked and it was really a terribly bad situation. I called Enviro Plumbing and Daniel, the owner, picked up right away. He quoted me a good price for two technicians per hour on the phone, which was lower than the prices of any competitor. When I asked him if there were any additional or hidden charges he reassured that the quoted price included everything. Within two hours a two-person team came out and worked very hard. They snaked from the cleanout by the bathroom, showers and toilets all the way to the main drain, and also checked the main drain that connects to the sewage line. They also did a great job cleaning up the mess. And Daniel charged me exactly the price he had quoted on the phone.

This was especially pleasant as I had contacted one of their competitors before, a larger, well established company. Those people quoted one price on the phone and on site they came up with huge additional charges (for 2 men, staircase, length of distance from street to bathroom, extra equipment, etc.. ). Not so Enviro Plumbing. They are communicative, honest, and don't try to trick or upsell you. Overall a great experience in a difficult situation. They have gained me a customer who will rely on them in the future.

I am finally writing this review after using Daniel's team and services for a couple of years now. Daniel and Angel are actually working on our house as I type.

I cannot stress enough how great Daniel is. He is highly responsive to all calls, often answering almost every time you call, and takes his time to hear what your needs are. Many times Daniel arrives with his team to talk with you further about the issues before handing it over to his staff, all of which are nice and competent in the plumbing work they do. Daniel has extensive knowledge about plumbing, but even shared some info with me about some of the history of SM's water, why we have certain piping and about the possibility of getting a rebate from the City (finger's crossed!).

What really set's Daniel apart from other plumbers is his willingness to tell you exactly what is going on, exactly what is needed, and what the price is going to be - before any work is done. I appreciate that he takes the time to tell me exactly what is wrong or needs fixing and how he's going to do it. Today I had the opportunity to hear him working and training his team member, and he is amazingly kind, patient and really a great teacher. It is evident in his work with his team that he cares, that he wants them to do good work and wants them to take pride in the work they do. I think that's pretty amazing to witness! Daniel is a really nice, stand up guy that oozes honesty and quality work.

We have had Enviro Plumbing replace our hot water heater, replace a bathroom stopper, flush our shower and replace a dripping pressure valve. I won't call anyone else across the West Side!

Working on a garage makeover in Santa Monica, we inadvertently hit a water line and sprung a leak. After getting the water shut off, I went searching on Yelp for a local plumber. After the 3rd call, I finally found a company that answered their phone. Daniel was very responsive and said he could have someone there within 2 hours. They actually were there within 1 hour and quickly took care of the repair at a very fair price. A great experience for using them for the 1st time.

UNBELIEVABLE!!! Daniel quoted me a really fair price on a clogged drain that turned out to be much much more work than anticipated. I had a mass of roots growing into the pipes. It took two men a couple of hours to clean and fix the problem. It was obviously going to cost much more than originally quoted, BUT Daniel was so kind by keeping the price the same--$100--what a blessing! I cannot tell you how relieved I am to have a reliable, clean and honest plumber with Daniel and his crew, Jose and Pepe, at Enviro Plumbing. I have been hiring him for a few years now, and I must recommend him to everyone in this area. Fast, friendly and fair. Wish I could give more stars!
