We've been using Tim for several years now, and he has always been so responsive, kind, and easy to work with. I've never felt overcharged or taken advantage of (first time homeowner so I know nothing lol), and tim, his wife, and his son have always been so helpful and pleasant. The drain from my washing machine and a utility sink was plugged. The plumbers quickly diagnosed the problem and formulated a repair solution and promptly informed me. They provided an estimate of repair costs that was very reasonable and completed the work for that amount. They were very friendly, knowledgeable and kept me in good communication. I will definitely be using them again for future plumbing repair needs.

These guys were just EXCELLENT; while they were here diagnosing a bathroom sink issue my washer machine in the laundry room exploded and water came pouring everywhere! It's a pretty big house so I wouldn't have heard it unless they let me know. They also helped with the new emergency, helping clean up and then fixing the faucet drip. They were fair, friendly and very reasonable pricing. But it was the Good Samaritan and going above and beyond for me. Thanks so much again!

Although I was not able to use this company's services because of timing issues, I was blown away by how helpful and responsive they were early on a Sunday morning and knowing I was not going to hire them for the job. I've used Encinitas plumbing for 2 major water heater projects at 2 houses and some smaller plumbing work as well. Tim has always been incredibly honest and their quotes have been literally thousands of dollars less than the competition. Not only have they done great work at a fair price, they also connected me with a trustworthy plumber and electrician. It's so hard to find contractors that won't screw you over. These guys do great work, and will give you and honest and fair quote you can trust.

Meh. Lots of phone calls and the team quickly left. Then didn't want to come back without lots of detailed photos. High prices high estimate. Didn't want to reuse or reconnect my perfectly good faucet claiming liability risk. Wont be using in the future.

the owner wrote me a threatening legal letter after I placed this honest 3 star review. Then they began to invoice me for services they didnt perform and promised free estimates.

Our kitchen sink with garbage disposal clogged up. Encinitas Plumbing came out the next day and cleared it through the cleanout plug. Although not on the schedule they also snaked a bathroom double sink, and showed me how to use a snake - both at my request. They gave an ETA when I made the appointment, and called to give a one-hour window a couple hours before coming out. Friendly, neat, and the price was right. Recommend and will use again.

Hired these guys in late October b/c they said they could fix our firepit before guests came into town. I sent them photos of the pit piping and they said there would be a $250 diagnostic fee and they can usually fix these issues during the diagnosis. Great. They showed up when they said they would and took a look at everything. They collected their fee, said they will get back to me and left.

I followed up with their office at least 8 times over a period of 2 months asking when they can provide an estimate or do the repair. Each time they said they would get back to me shortly. After 2 months passed we had to hire another company to diagnose and fix the firepit.

I asked Encinitas Plumbing for a refund of their diagnostic fee. They refused saying that they diagnosed the problem. We never received any written diagnosis. The only diagnosis was that the pipes needed to be reconnected which is obvious to anyone that looks at it. I don't need to pay someone $250 to tell me the pipes need to be connected. I was okay paying that to have them reconnect the pipes so I hired them to come and reconnect the pipes and they never did. They said they wanted to cut into the cement covering the valve to make sure there were not any gas leaks by the valve even though there were no signs of a gas leak. I told them there was a small leak at a pipe junction within the pit which was already resolved. They said they would provide an estimate for that and never did. In early January the receptionist said they didn't provide an estimate b/c it wasn't a job they wanted to get into. Why didn't they tell us that earlier? Clearly I wouldn't want to pay a company a diagnostic fee if they are not going to do the repair. Any other company you hire is going to have to do their own diagnosis.

They were super kind, professional, and fixed everything up extremely quickly. Also appreciated how they took the time to explain what the issue was and how they were going to fix it.
