I had a fireplace renovation completed over the summer and once everything was all done, I learned the gas valve (original 1970's pipework) had some leaks somewhere. Obviously not pleasant and could be dangerous, so I wanted to deal with it immediately and be sure other leaks weren't occurring elsewhere. I had multiple plumbers come by and give me iffy opinions but felt most comfortable about how Sean sized things up and articulated the issue.

Sean recommended a mason he works with named Israel to come by first in order to remove brick / expose the valve from the outside. This was so we didn't needlessly undo all the interior renovation work I had just completed. Afterwards, he and Avery came to address the problem. They replaced the gas valve, connected it into the existing location already designated for it, and fully tested the system. Sean explained the process, answered questions, and I appreciated that he wanted me to understand how they deal with each aspect.

Thankfully, no further leakage occurred and the inspection with the City of Austin went perfect. Sean, Avery, and Israel all did a great job, and now I can't even tell there was an issue before. Israel even helped me mortar in a new ash clean-out door where the original was rusting and refusing to stay put. An extra bit of effort that he didn't have to bother with. All in all, these guys are top notch and very professional. Courteous communication, punctual, and arrived always wearing masks, which is appreciated during these pandemic days.

Gas leak issues kinda scared me and I didn't really know where to start with it, but they put me at ease. I won't hesitate to call these guys again should the need arise.

Sean, owner and master plumber, and Avery fixed our fireplace gas leak. Sean used his gas detector and found that the leak was caused by an old valve. He replaced it, put in a new access panel and checked the gas lines for appropriate gas pressure which came out right. He pulled a permit as well. He also installed another smoke/carbon monoxide detector. More than likely, I will use him again to update water heater to sufficient standards. Thanks, Sean!

Our kitchen sink clogged on a Friday night and we were able to get in touch with Sean and he came out the same day to help us fix our clog. He not only discovered that it was a deeper problem, but helped fix the problem quickly and was reasonably priced. We loved his professionalism so much that we have since hired him for more jobs including recaulking the shower that had mold around it. That mold is gone and the shower is as good as new! Sean and his team are amazing. We had a plumbing pipe burst underground in our front yard. Which made it back up into our house. I called Empower plumber and spoke with Lisa. She is such a sweetheart! She got all my info and said she would call me as soon as she got to the office. She and Sean called me and spoke about what was going in in my house. We scheduled a visit to my house. Sean and Avery came by and cleared the line. So that we could use our bathrooms.(Keep in mind I hadn't paid a dime yet) He ran a camera so he could diagnose the problem. Sent me a quote. I accepted and I tell you. Sean is very knowledgable and friendly. He came out on a weekend when we had a gas leak. He did a thorough testing through our house and fixed everything so that we could pass inspection and get gas back on ASAP. He went above and beyond, even staying to wait for the gas company when I had to go back to work! I would definitely use them again if I had the need.
