Truly happy and satisfied with the work done at my home. I had a main water service line give out and needed to get it fixed asap. I received a fair and reasonable quote for the job (had other companies estimate the job and they totally overcharged ) which led me to work with Empire. I spoke to Cynthia from their office and she was able to answer all my concerns and questions which made me feel even more secure with choosing them for the service. All the workers that came out to get the job done were very good as well. Ive had other people do work on my home before and usually had to stay on top of them to get the job completed. This was not the case with Empire. They even managed to fix the pipe line that led out to the street without having to break through our garage floor, they found a better and more efficient solution. All in all my family and I were very happy with the service and happy to have water again.
Definitely recommending and using for future purposes!

I had a backed up sewer line that I snaked out only to find a few days later it was backup again so I called Empire for assistance. The receptionist was courteous and transparent with all of the costs, and gave a 2-hour window for the techs to arrive which was greatly appreciated. The techs arrived early and performed there tasks neatly and with care. The issue was greater than expected and the techs offered reasonable solutions and completed all the work on the spot. Thank you to the techs (Ray) for doing a wonderful job!!

Tony is an honest plumber who will calmly explain what is and isn't necessary as he patiently and kindly answers all questions you may have. Unlike other plumbers, he thinks of alternatives in order to meet your needs and does not impose his opinion or make up interpretations of what can happen if you do not undertake certain projects or realize certain repairs.

The company took care of my senior citizen parent as if she was part of the family and explained everything in a manner that was meticulous, inclusive and never pedantic or mysterious. Further, the reviews are right about how the main office gets back to you immediately but there is more. They will get you in direct communication with the specialist assigned so that expectations are well established.

I had a slow sewer drain. I had to call twice but I think they got the address wrong the first time. I had Peter come within 30 minutes of the second call. He took a look at the drain, recognized the problem and got the problem solved in less than 15 minutes. I'll definitely call Empire again if I need a plumber. Tony the plumber just left and was very professional and meticulous about finding what I thought was a simple back up. He electrically snaked, and then powered washed the pipes until he found the problem which he identified after patiently working on the pipes. He kept me informed the whole time about procedures and costs. It was nice not to be pressured into doing more than I wanted to get done. The great experienced started when I called the night before and the answering service was very professional and explained the costs. They said they would be here between 8 and 9 and came at 8:30. I highly recommend and will use again. Warranty given and a quote was given if I decide to have more work done.

I called today 9/3/17 Labor Day. The lady on the phone was so rude. I asked a few questions and seeing that on the website it shows 24/7 emergency service, I was just asking if she knew when I would be able to get someone to the property. She was so rude when she responded back that it was a holiday and she sounded like she just wanted to get off the phone. She then cut me off and asked me for my information which I did tell her my name but as soon as I said, let me try to call around just to see if I can get someone today or tomorrow because it was an emergency, she basically hung up on me. I wouldn't want to give anyone business if this is how their employees can talk to a customer. Especially when I was not rude at all and I stayed calm even though she was very rude to me the whole conversation.

I spoke with Diana on the phone to get a quote on a water main repair. She sent out a crew on Monday ASAP and gave us a quote. I shopped around but ended up going with Empire because they were punctual and gave me options on fixing the issue. Tony and his crew showed up on a weekend after pulling an emergency permit to resolve the issue. We found the leak right away. Dug down 3 feet and performed a spot fix. After spending an entire day with Tony, I was very impressed with his coordination with his crew. He delegated the right tasks and was clearly experienced with this line of work. In short, he went above and beyond.

At the end of the day, Empire helped me fix the issue with minimal costs. I would recommend this company to anyone with a water main or sewer work.

After calling 5 or 6 companies (and only hearing back from 3 of them) I decided to go with Empire because they were the most attentive to my needs and the price seemed right. They were able to come out right away and gave me a verbal quote, which was followed by a professional written quote via email. They were able to start the job two days after I signed the proposal and finished the job in just one day. Frank even gave me a discount because they didn't have to do as much work as he originally thought. Talk about honest, I don't know who else would pass down their savings to the customer, so I think Frank is a very fair man.

Other company's reps that I had seen before Empire were stand offish and it seemed as if they didn't want my business, so guess what, I didn't want to give them my money. I rather give my money to people who treat me right and give me the time to ask questions (even if they might be ""stupid"" questions).
