Mike was here in half an hour to unclog the sole toilet in the house. Courteous guy who worked quickly and neatly and got the job done. Dispatcher was also courteous and quick. I will definitely use them again.

My garbage disposal went on the fritz, so based on reviews here, I called Empire. They were great! Steve came out the same day, and after figuring out my old disposal was was DOA, installed a new one that I purchased in case that wineglass down the disposal proved to be fatal. He also fixed the plumbing laziness he saw under the sink from previous plumbers just to make it right. Wow! Then he did some work on my bathroom fixtures that was much appreciated. Steve was so pleasant, courteous, and professional--and just so likable! I will definitely be calling with any plumbing issues I have in the future. So should you!

We called Empire State Plumbing on Oct. 26 because water was leaking through a light fixture in the kitchen ceiling. Steve was able to come within a couple hours and (together with my husband) diagnosed the problem as a leaking shower valve cartridge and trim in the second-floor bathroom; he knew the parts had a lifetime warranty, contacted the dealer and manufacturer, and ordered the replacement parts at no cost to us. The parts arrived late the following Friday, and Steve returned Monday morning to install them. Steve was knowledgeable, skilled, and worked efficiently; he explained everything and was friendly and courteous. We thought the charge was reasonable, and we would definitely recommend Empire Plumbing.

I had a basement flooding in my basement on Sept 8 midnight and I found it out the next day, my basement was 15 inches in water. On Sept 12, Tom came in and fixed the discharge pipe and rerouted the whole pipe system for me. He was very careful, skilled, and explained to me in great details why my flooding happened and how it should be fixed. I was highly pleased with Tom and his company and I wish I could have had him service my plumbing in the past years when I ran wildly for an excellent plumber. Now I have found one finally - Empire State Plumbing and Tom , and his team. Thank you very very much Tom, for you excellence.

I honestly can't say enough about Empire State Plumbing as they've always provided excellent professional service at a fair price. I own some older rental properties and when I run into something that I know is beyond my skill, I don't hesitate to call Empire State Plumber as they always get the job done regardless of whether it's a sewer main clog, washer drain clog, frozen pipe burst or some other major challenge, they've always delivered the goods. If you need Plumbing services and don't know who to call, you'll never regret reaching out to these guys. I practically have them on speed dial. LOL.

BTW: While all the folks that I've worked with at Empire State Plumbing have been great, Steve
is the one plumber that I ask for by name. He's a Master plumber that has seen and
done it all. Great attitude with the skills to match. Hard to find.

I used the services of Empire State Plumbing for the first time to fix an annoying leak in a drain line for my washing machine and kitchen sink. They completed the job in a reasonable amount of time. At the end of the job they cleaned up after themselves. Charged a reasonable rate, the same if not less than an auto mechanic would charge. If I need more plumbing work that has to be done in my house, i have someone i can call.

I'm disappointed over the poor customer service I experienced, from first unprocessed call to ultimate no-show. After the first unsuccessful call, I followed up with what came across as productive exchanges about Empire's services. Despite these conversations, including one last call to confirm the home appointment, I found myself sitting and waiting on the scheduled day. Only when I made a call (again) did the receptionist tell me, ""Something came up and [the representative] can't make it."" I had just rushed home to meet the company so expressed my disappointment over having received no notice whatsoever. I initiated all calls, including confirmation two days earlier. My staff contact became indifferent to the point of rudeness. For my efforts, I received no courtesy, a no-show, and no apology. Empire State Plumbing Inc. is not a company I would offer for someone's consideration, let alone recommend.

I had a pipe burst over the weekend during the freeze and called first thing Monday morning. Sue on the phone was so sweet and helpful. She even called twice during the day to let me know that they were busy and would have to push the appt back a little, which I appreciated. Steve (who is awesome btw) showed up the same day, checked things out, broke it down for me and got right to work. When he was finished he explained everything he did and all of the associated charges (which were more reasonable than I had expected, first house and all). He was even able to answer questions for me about the wet insulation and drywall etc....again, awesome. I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone and will be calling again when I need to!
