Wanted to update this review as it recently rained and my basement got flooded once again! I am not sure what is their specialty but it most certainly isn't to figure out why a basement is flooding. I had to get another company to figure out the problem. The plumber that came to my house quickly and throughly addressed the issue. He simulated a rain storm by using two water hoses to run water through two separate outdoor drains. We then started to learn how the water was getting into the basement. He then SNAKED the basement floor drains and explained what he was doing as he worked, SOMETHING THAT this company didn't do. The new plumber even told me that as a customer I have a right to a copy of the video that Empire Sewer and Water took when they were looking inside our drains. I called the office and was told that they didn't have it... so what the heck did I pay for then? This new plumber snaked the basement floor storm drains and found pieces of broken metal and other debris AND SHOWED it to us. We watched what he did beginning to end AND he explained what he did in our basement. This plumber did an exceptional job and was very detailed. I must say that it rained recently and our basement didn't get flooded at all. I will give Empire Sewer and Water three starts because they where exceptional at customer service. The last time I called because I felt I was overcharged they did return a potion of my money and send a plumber out to my house again to make it right even though I felt that it was for nothing anyway as my basement flooded once again. He even said that he couldn't do anything because he said that we had cement in the sewer caps. The new plumber EASILY was able to open those caps. so basically, this plumber from Empire came and did nothing.

I think that the plumbers that work at Empire Sewer and Water can do better work...

I have absolutely no reservation recommending Empire! They were able to turnaround my request, which later turned into an emergency request by the city, within an hour. Highly responsive, actionable, reliable, professional and friendly. They had the manpower and resources to remedy my situation the next day. They worked very hard and long so that we didn't have to have our water shut off longer than necessary. They checked for the most cost-effective option as well. Frank and his crew are good people and get high marks on integrity. Job well done!

Empire was extremely responsive to our need for a same day sewer inspection. They showed up on time and sent me a video with voice over of the sewer inspection for a reasonable price. Overall I was very satisfied with their service and would recommend them to a friend.

Our tub drain was completely backed up and was causing the bathroom sink and kitchen sink to not drain properly. Roto-Rooter wouldn't give us a quote over the phone for a basic drain snake. We had to wait four hours for them to come and assess the situation at which point Roto quoted $395. Seemed high so we contacted a few other plumbers. Empire got back to us quickly and quoted $175 on the phone. They came in an hour. Frank and Lewis snaked the tub successfully and fast. Super nice guys, highly recommend!

I would not wish this job on anyone, but I am so happy with the work that Empire was able to provide for us 24 hours. The guys are young, but they know their work and their worth. Very professional and knowledgeable. Frank is a great manager and I definitely plan to give them more work at another property I own.

I called Empire at 8 am because I had a clogged sink in my bathroom. They said they would send someone by 10 and they sure did! The plumber was prompt, professional and knowledgeable in solving my problem! I am extremely satisfied with the service and will no doubt keep them on speed dial for any future plumbing issues I may encounter. I highly recommend this company above everyone else out there. If you are looking for a quick response, reliable and professional service and who are reasonably priced, you can't get any better!! I'm referring my neighbors, friends and family!!

I called this company in an emergency at my house. They came to my house in 2 hours. They were very professional and made me feel like they were very knowledgeable about the information they were providing me about my sewer drain in my house. I feel comfortable in knowing that they will be there on an annual basis to check the work that they have done today. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that needs help at home with their sewer or water systems.

Called Empire Sewer and water for a clogged pipe under my bathroom sink. Received quick and easy service and was even left impressed by how punctual and efficient they worked. Would definitely call them again, as they work around the clock. My only complaint would be a small mess left behind... But who's perfect? HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
