Mr. Rooter Plumbing was established in 1970 by David Duck, who opened the first location in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Duck created his plumbing business, calling it Mr. Rooter. In 1989, Duck sold Mr. Rooter Plumbing to The Neighborly Group following discussions with Don Neighborly. Despite selling the business rights and original franchises, Duck retained his shop in Oklahoma City. David Duck is still a franchise owner to this day. I feel like plumbing is in my blood as a 4th generation plumber; I spent my childhood taking apart the new parts our plumbers needed; they demanded the tools to be locked up, but I always managed to find a way. I started working with my grandfather in 1989 when I wasn’t in school, assisting the family business until 2004 when I began my own (still assisting with my dad as a subcontractor). I have a well-rounded experience in repair, remodel, new construction, commercial, and residential plumbing. I love helping people and offering great service. I’m originally from South Carolina; my family business began in 1953, and I joined them in 1989, then branched out in 2004, bought my family business from my dad in 2015, and passed it to my adopted son/brother-in-law in 2021 when I started this business in the Flathead Valley. I started plumbing in another state in 1999 and relocated to Kalispell in 2005, where I have been active in the Flathead Valley ever since. I am blessed with two amazing kids and a wonderful family, all residing here. I am excited to meet you.
