used this co today installed an expensive kitchen faucet in no time will use them again

He sucks. He was doing the plumbing for a huge remodel we have. He didn't install the drain to the tub. The cold water on the faucet for the sink doesn't work. His incompetent son created 3 leaks if he bothered to show up. NOW I AM DOWN TWO BATHROOMS. DO NOT USE.

Rip off! Nice personable guy but a total rip off. He is $150/hour plus parts and will not charge any less. If he's there 10 min the labor is still $150. At first I thought well that's just the way it works. I noticed he cashed my checks as soon as he left- don't think it's a coincidence. He fixed 3 of my showers and 2 toilets. All of the jobs were 10-30 minutes and 15 min was the average yet the lowest cost was $150. He was only late once but over an hour and i had to contact him as i had taken off work and rearranged my schedule to wait. I asked for a discount and he did so adjusting from $159 to $95 which is why i gave him 2 and not 1 star because afterwards my husband came home and saw all he did was turn a handle and caulk the wall and the water still just trickled out- it's not fixed. For this last job (discounted one) he told me on the phone he told me hesitantly and nicely that despite my husbands attempts to fix the shower cartridge which were the issues with my last 2 showers he fixed-he didn't do it correctly and that's why the bath faucet didn't line up. He came out and called for an Allen wrench and caulk and was done 10 min later. I asked what needed done and he said the shower handle was just put back on too tight after replacing the cartridge. That's what costs $150???? Why couldn't he tell me that and my husband could have fixed it??? I have spent about $1k with him over last 1-2 years and it's disheartening my frequent customer status bought me no loyalty to the truth that he didn't even need to come out and it was an easy fix my husband could do. I called my friend who I forgot her husband is a plumber and showed him pics and he said he wants to come look at it to fix it the right way as caulk is in no way shape or form necessary to just loosen a handle and he questioned whether it was done correctly at all. He's coming out this weekend to look at it and he charges $50 for this type of job and would tell people upfront exactly what needed done and in this instance since my husband would have felt comfortable just loosening a handle he would have said ok and glad to help. Emory did not tell me this was all that needed done but just that the cartridge was replaced incorrectly and he could easily fix it. My friends husband (plumber) said by the before and after picture with new caulk he had no idea what Emory had really done and why. He also said $150/hour for labor and $150 minimum is a total rip off and he himself charges $75/hour labor and does do partial hour charges. I looked at my bank account and again the check was already cashed.

Emory is great. Arrived at our house almost immediately. Very personable and knowledgeable. His price was fair. Recommend to anyone that needs a plumber.

He's experienced, competent, charges reasonably and is trustworthy. I highly recommend him!

Excellent!!! We found our bedroom closet underwater. Emory and his grandson were at our home in 20 minutes after calling!! They were both very polite and both found and repaired the leak in the wall right away! Very knowledgeable and trusting! Highly recommend this company!!!

I would not recommend Emory Garland. He whines through the job. He only did part of the job until I reminded him to finish. He charges way too much. He came for hour then left, complaining it was too hard. He left pipes open over night which caused a leak. Broke through the floor in two places into my ceiling downstairs. He didn't tum on the water to check his work before leaving. Happily for me, my contractor caught him and when they turned on the water there was a leak in his work that he was made to fix. Also whined to the contractor about the woman of the house chewing him out about leaving the job early. Seriously, call someone else and save your sanity.

Emory was here on time with a pleasant smile. We needed help with a outdoor hose connection and he was able to get the repair done with some cutting tools . His price is fair and is work is great. He is a local businessman and we support that .

This is not actually a recommendation; it is a warning. I got totally ripped off my Emory Garland Plumbing. I had an exterior pvc pipe that was constantly dripping, running up my water bill. I called to get advice or a visit from a plumbing tech. I explained what and where it was, and he said he was actually very close. He came within 5 moinutes, walked over, jiggled a valve in the end of the pipe with his index finger, said """"I knew that was the problem"""", charged me for an hour labor, and billed me $105. I asked if he knew what it was, could he not have advised me to do the same thing and bill me for 15 minutes, or whatever was reasonable. He just told me """"that's the way it is"""". I advised him that I would do my best to warn people against his services and he told me to do whatever. So, here I am.

This company is completely unprofessional!! They smashed their large van into the back of my vehicle while arriving at a plumbing job. Then when I proceeded to inform them that I had contacted the authorities to file a police report they ran back into their vehicle and drove away, leaving my damaged car and the accident site. A HIT AND RUN!! I then called the company and let them know what occurred, to which they chose to hang up on me and refused to answer any calls afterwards. DO NOT USE THEM!!! DO NOT TRUST THEM!! Irresponsible and untrustworthy!
