Arrived 2 hours late for a leaky bathtub spout. Advised that it would require replacing all of my hardware in the shower. It would take about 1-5 hours to do. The quote...$850! When asked for a breakdown of the rate and cost for parts, I was told that he didn't know how much it cost because the owner buys them in bulk. I asked for their labor price per hour and he danced around the question and told me that it is more expensive on weekends (Saturday). It would be cheaper during the week, so I asked to reschedule. They could take me on the next Monday (1 day away) and the price of the job would be $650. I ended up getting a different plumber who opened up the faucet and only had to replace two washers. Job repaired for less that $200. SMH...I can't believe they were gonna charge me $850 and cut up my wall to replace the shower fixtures.

I called early at 8am today hoping that EPS wouod be able to come out to fix leaking pipes under the kitchen sink. Luckily I got an appointment between 1-2 and received a call from Nathan at 1230 that he was on the way. Great service and great work! The Yelp reviews given by others are so true about EPS. If you ever need a quick plumbing fix, give them a call ASAP!

Do not use this company! They could not even unplug a tub drain! Although they snaked it-they had to ask me for a plunger as they did not have one! What plumber does not have a plunger? Then as they could not get it unplugged they promised to come back at 7am on a day in the following week. The guy absolutely promised me they would be back at that day and at 7am sharp. I made arrangements to be off work for 7-8:30 as they it would be quick as they were bringing back a strong solution to pour down the tin drain. At 7:15 I called the office and of course the secretary had no record of any of this. She finally found out that these guys were on an emergency call and hoped to be a couple of hours late. Had I not called the office-I would never have found this out. I could not wait that long and after talking to the boss who made no suggestion to send someone else out immediately, I was told to find another plumber. They did not charge me but did not finish the job and in fact left off a part of the drain opening. Very frustrating!

How often do you have an emergency service call that is complimentary???? This was definitely the first time I've experienced this. The dispatch operator had a plumber come out the same day and although he ran late, the plumber called to notify me about his delay and even called when he was on his way. GREAT JOB NATHAN. He assessed my leaking sink in my kitchen and had it up and running in less than 5 minutes maybe even less. Since the fix was a simple one Emergency Plumbing did not charge me. Not even a service call charge.... UNBELIEVABLE SERVICE! I will definitely be their biggest advocate! 10 STARS as far as I'm concerned.

Called them this morning, and was told that they would be over before noon. Then I was politely informed they were running late. Kyle called on the way over. Fixed my kitchen faucet with no problem, and said there would be no charge. But then told him the real problem was a downstairs toilet. They went to pick up some parts, and fixed everything right away. Very quick, professional and personable. I asked them for two business cards, so that I can let others know about them.

Thank you, EPS! We rent and we had an after-hours emergency: the hot water handle on our kitchen sink broke and the water could not be turned off unless we turned off the water to the entire house. That wouldn't be too bad except that we share the house with another family so this issue needed to be fixed, stat. At 9pm on a Sunday, not only was this was the only company to actually answer the phone but they promised that someone would be there within an hour....and sure enough, Randall fulfilled that promise. He was professional and courteous and he fixed the problem in about an hour or so and we could restore water to the house rather than wait until morning to call the property management. Very happy with the service and will definitely use them again.

Even though it turned out to be a simple problem, I have nothing but praise for my first dealings with EPS. Late Saturday night I had a stuck tub stopper (the lever type) that got wedged in the drain line that for the life of me I could not remove. After judicious use of WD40 and my careful use of brute force, I still failed to make it budge (and accidentally removing the first linkage to it), so the next morning I decided to cut my losses and call in a pro. After some Yelp'ing, I called another plumber first at 8:30am but got an answering machine. After about an hour with no call back (and still no call back a day later as I write this review), I decided to give EPS a call. At first my call went to an answering machine but as I was leaving my name and number, EPS called me back right away. The person on the phone (sorry, I can't remember your name) asked what my problem was and was not only knowledgeable but also very pleasant and helpful and set me up for an appointment between 3 and 4 pm the same day but told them that I'd be home all day so if any earlier times came up, please let me know. At just past 2pm I got a call from Kyle stating that he had finished the previous job early and was on his way in about 15 minutes. I met him as he drove in and described my problem and we both thought that we'd be in for a long afternoon as normally the solution is to replace the entire tub drain assembly. Lucky for me, Kyle gave brute force one last try and 'pop' the entire assembly plunger assembly came out. Feeling bad about charging the full amount for literally 2 seconds of work, Kyle also cleaned the drain line too so not only can my tub drain, it drains very well now too! Everything was wrapped up prior to my originally scheduled 3pm time frame start. Very happy customer and I definitely will be calling EPS again if another job falls beyond my abilities. Thanks!

Good service! Nate did a great job finding the leak and installing a new disposal. He came when he was scheduled. Was Fast, courteous, & cleaned up after. Will use them again. Hard to find a decent plumber - these guys are it!

These guys are the best. I live in a newer apartment building downtown, and when my kitchen sink clogged and began leaking into the unit below me, I needed someone to come fast. Within the hour, EPS sent someone out who quickly cleared my drain and gave some helpful tips on what to do if it happened again. The price was completely reasonable, even though it was an after-hours call. At 7pm on a Thursday night, this was the ONLY 24hr service that actually answered the phone. That made a huge difference, since most of the others I called had voicemail-only service or they just simply didn't pick up. The lady who answered the phone at EPS was super friendly and helpful, which must be difficult since she probably deals with much less-polite people with plumbing emergencies at all hours of the day and night. From the time I called - my line was cleared in under an hour and a half. Not sure if this is typical, but in reading the other comments it seems like these guys have a great track record of getting in and out really quickly. I couldn't be more happy with their service, and they've officially made my fridge-list of emergency numbers!
