Janice Z.Called this company on a Sunday because a pipe was leaking in our basement. They were able to come fix it within two hours. Not an awful price for a Sunday either. Very friendly as well!
I want to like them, but each time we've contacted them for service their plumbers fail to show anywhere near to on time. And woman who answers their phones is extremely rude!
Michael F.They've always been attentive to our needs. Great folks, fair pricing and quick response. Thanks so much for treating me like a valuable client!!
Denise B.This place isn't even worth one star. Don't call them unless you would like an EMERGENCY in your home.
Candace T.We had a leaking hose bib, and the water was running down into our basement. We called on a Friday to schedule an appointment (non-emergency, as it only leaked when we had the hose running) and got someone out on Monday. Tracy came in and quickly found the problem and got it fixed in a timely manner. He kept us informed on everything he was doing during the whole process. The charge was reasonable for the work done, and our problem was fixed. We would use this company again for future plumbing issues.
Not the cheapest, but definitely the most professional plumbing company I've dealt with. The owner who came by for the estimate was extremely easy-going and friendly. He walked me through the job from beginning to end, and they were very accommodating when it came to scheduling.
Damon R.I've used Emergency Plumbing a couple of times in the last 18 months. Once to replace and relocate an expansion tank in my basement and then to reconnect some gas lines. They were friendly and professional, did a great job, and the pricing was very reasonable. Their quote was significantly less than the quote from Amanda Plumbing, another local plumbing company.
Debbie T.I started using Emergency Plumbing Service about a year ago. It was an emergency and they lived up to their name. It also didn't hurt that they were voted number one plumber in Delaware which was a confidence booster for me. For my first plumbing need I had a odd situation and they had me send pictures to their email and we were able to consult on the phone the best way to handle the problem. Their professionalism and courtesy were a breath of fresh air. Because of this experience I started using them for my business. As in any restaurant, a plumbing issue is usually an EMERGENCY. I've used them about 5 times and they always come out promptly and have all the parts needed for the problem. Their staff is knowledgeable and efficient. I highly recommend Emergency Plumbing Service for both home and business.
Isn't it always? An emergency, I mean? Mine was a sump pump failure in the midst of above average rainfall--with more in the forecast. I knew mine wasn't the only flooded basement and that cleanup couldn't start until my sump pump was replaced. And it already smelled.
Emergency Plumbing said they'd get someone over immediately. They were really busy but--thank goodness--adequately staffed to keep their word. The price was reasonable (actually less than I expected), and John and Bryan were helpful in laying out what my next steps should be.
Emergency Plumbing will definitely be my first phone call next time I have a plumbing issue and my first recommendation to others looking for a reputable plumbing company.
Megan G.We called twice to have our sump pump replaced and both times we were told it was fine. Both times the basement flooded after we were told it was fine and it had failed. Then, a temporary drain pipe was ran out the basement window. No one came to look at it for another seven days. (we had to call and remind them) Then, they didn't do anything, barely looked at it and told me it would be another 3 days to get an estimate and from there set an appointment to fix it. Meanwhile, my back yard is flooded from the temporary drain and vermin are given free access to my basement. I will NEVER use this provider again! Avoid the incompetence and save yourself a headache!
