Emergency Plumbers Good Guys

Called for help from these guys after a rain caused basement flooding from 2 floor drains. I explained the flooding, including how the catch basin level rises during a storm. Dave rodded the 2 floor drains. I asked if he rodded to the street and Dave said no, he rodded to the main line and stopped there. I told him if there is a clog I need to know. I never expected floor drains at opposite ends of the house to somehow clog at the same time. He said he did not have equipment to get to the street. Said the main was a larger circumference. (?)
Dave advised to have the catch basin cleaned, and divert the downspouts into the yard. I diverted the downspouts and arranged for a catch basin cleaning. I was not able to divert a large storm drain for the driveway and backyard, however. Basement flooded again even worse on the next 2 rains.
I had another plumber out today and learned the following:
1) The floor drains go to the catch basin. Dave could never have reached the main from the floor drains.
2) Any of the cleanouts in the 3 basement stacks could have been used to get to the main.
3) The main is very clogged and will need a camera to see if it can even be saved or needs to be replaced. 2 hours of rodding today by another company only got into about 30 of the 100 feet.
All 3 items would have been useful to know 2 weeks ago when Good Guys were called. These guys were a waste of money, as well as a waste of 2 weeks time in an emergency situation that caused 2 more backup floods of 1000 or more gallons with massive damage.

After 3 drain back ups and calling 3 different companies that failed to diagnose my issue, I decided to give these guys a call. Ray and Joe came in with full protective gear, followed all cdc covid-19 safety guidelines and cleaned out my drain quickly and very efficiently. Ray explained why I was backing up so often and offered a permanent solution. I'm glad I called these guys again!

My basement had water and I found the sump pump stopped working this morning when I opened the front yard well, I contaced several plumbing companies and Emergency Plumbers definitely impressed me a lot. The manager Mari reponded very quickly and offered to send a plumber to come and check on Saturday afternoon. The plumber, Joe, came and found the electric plug was a little loose, after re-plug, the pump started to work again! Even though nothing major took place, I am impressed with their high service level, it's a true 24*7 company to go, with fast action steps driven by good attitude to serve the customers, I would think of Mari's plumbing team for sure, if I need help in future!

I called the Good Guys when the sewer backed up into my basement last week because they had been so helpful several years ago when it had happened. Apparently their rates have tripled since then. But, they definitely had us over a barrel since the basement continued to fill faster than we could bale. So, there was no room to argue. They did fix the problem...

We recently installed new kitchen counters and changed from a double to single sink. We needed plumbing reworked slightly and a new garbage disposal installed. Mari and Good Guys couldn't have been easier to deal with. Sent a couple photos of the current situation and she was able to provide a reasonable quote and work with the counter install schedule to do the work. The plumbers were very friendly and completed the work quickly. I'll definitely use them for my future plumbing needs.
