I've lived in Texas for 35 years. I know it's hot here. I also know that every other place I've lived, it's been possible to take a cold shower.
What Carlos said was so absurd, the HVAC tech who was here at the same time waited until he was gone, the took me aside and said, "I couldn't help overhearing, and what that guy told you was nonsense."
This man will lie to your face, do nothing, and take a service fee for his trouble. Avoid.
