We finally made the decision to transition to a tankless water heater. We decided to use emergency leak detection because of their positive reviews. Best choice we ever made! The installer, Andy, was amazing. He was well versed on every aspect of the job. I was very impressed. He was friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend this company to all my friends. By the way, did I mention Sarah? She is the customer service rep that helped us get a $1000.00 rebate from the gas company. THANK YOU Sarah! You guys are the best!

I was referred to Emergency Leak Detection by my plumber. My tenant has a leak we can't locate so I left them a message. A few hours later I had still not heard from them so I called again thinking I had forgotten to leave my phone number. A female answered the call saying yes, she had received my message, but she was driving and would call me when she gets home. My tenant kept hounding me since he was at his place bailing water. 50 minutes had passed and she cheerfully answered the phone, ""Emergency Leak Detection."" I mentioned who I was and the earliest date they can arrive is 4 days from now. What a waste of 4 hours. Since my tenant is bailing water, I have to get someone there tonight, and now because of Emergency Leak Detection, I'll be paying a premium to have someone out there after hours.

Woke up one morning and suspected we had a slab leak. Opened a claim with my insurance company who sent out Andy with Emergency Leak Detection. Andy found the leak and suggested a re-route of the hot water lines to the kitchen and bathroom. Within a day, he had us back up and running. Very professional, clean work and just a genuinely nice person. Highly recommend for any of your plumbing needs.

This is an honest and complete review of my experience with Andy Hernandez of Emergency Leak Detection, located in Cathedral City.

I found Emergency Leak Detection through a search on Google, when my water bill jumped from $40 each month, to $237 (last bill). The water company informed me that they suspected a leak.

When I made the initial call to Emergency Leak Detection, an appointment was not available until the following week. I didn't like it, but I set the appointment anyways.

While waiting, I thought I'd get an estimate from another company, as well; I had a friend seek out referrals on Facebook, but it turned out to be a, rather, large mistake. I, totally, regret not waiting for Andy; the other company didn't detect the leak but tried to charge me to repair everything else that I didn't even need.

After experiencing the other company's total lack of ethics, my appointment with Andy arrived. He was early for our 8:30 am appointment, but he waited in his car until it was time.

He immediately went to work, walking around my property with his equipment. He searched over two hours, then called me outside to tell me, 'I found your leak!'. He hovered his sonar over an area of my pool deck, under a concrete slab; it beeped wildly. It was the line that connects to the irrigation and pool autofill. He also found that the line's psi was at 120.

He told me what he needed to do, and what it would cost me; He didn't even ask for a deposit.

When I agreed to hire him, he called his office to inform them not to schedule anything for the next day.

That next morning, he arrived early again, but waited outside, as usual. It took the whole day, but my water leakage issue is, now, a thing of the past.

Andy came; he saw; he conquered. He was professional, punctual, honest, highly-skilled, and very caring; all the qualities, a great service provider possesses.

Andy Hernandez, and his wife Sarah, are an awesome team that sets the bar high for the service industry. It's been a struggle of mine to find a service company that actually cares about customer satisfaction; they are few-and-far-between, but Emergency Leak Detection proved to be winners for me.

I feel blessed to have found Emergency Leak Detection; Thank you, Andy and Sarah! There ARE some good ones out there!

Amazing skill to find a leak in a vertical drain pipe that is dry and open, in the wall. Andy did it really quick. He definitely knows what he is doing. He replaced the pipe and was on his way in a short period of time. That is a confident plumber.

I called Emergency Leak Detection to check out excessive water use on the water meter at my client's house. I spoke with Sarah and she said that a technician was actually in the neighborhood and could stop by that afternoon. Andy came out and ruled out any leak inside. He came back the next day to run tests on the entire exterior of the large property and found 2 leaks then shut off the water for us until I could contact the landscaper.
We had a previous leak and used another leak detection company. From start to finish (down to the scanned, hand scribbled, vague report, sent by email from a mailbox and shipping store because he didn't use email) it was a bad experience.
So it was a relief to find Emergency Leak Detection, who was responsive and efficient in coordinating and performing the work as well as providing a complete and detailed report with photos, at a reasonable price too. Thanks guys!
