They don't even deserve 1 star.
We bought a brand new unit from them 9/2023, on 6/2024 it went out so we requested them to come take a look. We have a 9 day old newborn and 3 dogs and made them aware of this!! it was 90+ degrees all week
Day 1- They were 4 hours late to their appointment time without giving us any heads up.
Days 2- Days 6- Came multiple times a day with multiple techs, each tech would blame the others that came before them. They would show up and ask my husband and i if we have any idea what is wrong with it because they were not updated before coming. On Day 6 i sent an email to which got absolutely no response. Not surprised!
Day 7- We were told it was working and they left for it to stop working an hour later so another night with no AC with a newborn
Day 8- Tech came out and of course, blamed the others that have been here before. When the tech drained the unit the water went under the room next to it carpet so now we have to tear up that carpet.

8 DAYS OF NO AC!!! DID I MENTION WE HAVE A NEWBORN

This experience has been awful, no one is taking accountability and managers are nowhere to be seen when we ask to speak to one. We are normally very understanding but not anymore. Would never recommend this company to anyone.

From the beginning estimate to installation Emergency AC & Plumbing by Gregg Air was absolutely amazing! My system/unit was very old (1987) and finally gave out! Mike came to my home right away and quickly assessed the situation. I asked so many questions, my son(15yrs) even had questions, but Mike took time to address each question and explained the systems, the differences between them all, and he then explained all payment/finance options available to me. The team that came to install my unit (Martin Bernal) were equally efficient the install of my new unit was so fast and I am very happy!

I had a great experience with Mike and team! My 20 year old system pooped out at the start of summer - the first quote I got seemed high, so I reached out to Emergency AC on a Saturday evening for a second opinion. I immediately got a response, and received an estimate later the same night. They were able to replace my full system and relocate my thermostat for about 30% less than the other company quoted me for the same exact unit. Everyone was prompt, friendly and professional, and left my home clean when the work was completed.

I have nothing but good things to say about the great service we experienced from start to finish, the quality of work, and the effort this team went to to get us a good value. I spoke to another company who tried to quote me almost 20 thousand for a new AC unit, so we reached out to emergency AC for a second opinion. John came out right away and quickly assessed our situation. He explained all payments options available and didn't try to oversell anything, he even explained a high end (expensive) unit may not work well for our older home and gave us a very reasonable quote. He worked so fast to get a team out the next day. Looking through older reviews I know their teams are employees, John knows his team's work and he came out before and after installation to make sure it was going well and called me a couple times during to make sure we didn't have questions. I had multiple companies look at our AC and I only felt like I could trust John and emergency AC over the other companies. He was so attentive to the team working and to us and made me feel so relaxed during a very stressful situation considering we just bought our home. Thank you so much!

UPDATE: Even though the owner corrected me on farming out work, I still (after over three attempts) never got clarification on the promised seasonal check-ups, where I was told I'd get an update.
I now have another AC guy (recommended by one of my contractors) who professionally keeps up on my units without a hitch, and has very good value.

I have used Emergency AC for multiple repairs, not replacements , to my HVAC and Furnace units and have received impeccable service each and every time. The pricing is aligned with the market and we all know if you have to call in a professional, it is not a DIY project. Sunny has personally called me after each completion to ensure my satisfaction. The service calls are communicated by text message, which I appreciate, and the servicemen are always on time or early. They are very respectful and love animals. This is my go-to company when many others would give me a 2-3 day wait period. The name says it all, in Texas, it's always an emergency.

marshall came out last november and lazy - he had to get permission to move the thermostat upstairs by the a/c closet and we have been freezing downstairs and burning up upstairs since then. i will uploand pictures, because they are saying they did not do it....marshall did not put it in his report. they need to get back out here and fix their horrible job in that closet. we have doubled our usage on billing.

I should have read the other reviews first!! If you let Sonny the owner, or his help service your a/c or heat don't give him any money until the work is finished and your happy! He doesn't honor his word, even when its in writing and that is a bad thing!! I strongly suggest finding someone else to do your work!!

They are quick to take your money but not quick to return your call if there is an issue. I called to get my AC unit working and the cane out refilled the Freon but a few days later the unit started making weird noises and a leak began. I have been calling everyday and the only time I got a response I was told they were backed up so we scheduled for the next day and they no showed and when I called I got another we are backed up excuse. Then he had a friend reach out to me to say he could come and look at my AC unit but I needed to pay his service charge. So rather than dealing with an issue that a customer has they are blowing me off, avoiding my calls, and trying to pass me on to another company.

If I could give them 0 stars, I WOULD!! Sunny came to our home a little over a week ago to service our air conditioner. A few days later, our AC unit started leaking and rattling. We have been trying to contact them ever since and all we have been getting is the run around. We've only spoken to them twice and they promised to have someone come out, but no one ever shows up. Now, they are not returning our phone calls. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! We used them based on the good reviews we saw, but unfortunately, are having a very BAD experience with them! I will NEVER use them for anymore AC work, and will tell everyone I know not to also. We are also seriously considering taking legal action!!
