Wayne and the crew from Emerald City Plumbing were fantastic. Excellent communication and follow through on the project. Wayne quoted us for a very fair price to pipe-burst our main sewer line. The crew came in and finished the project a day early. Couldn't be more pleased with Emerald City Plumbing.

After several big rains, we had two leaks in our basement and called Emerald City Plumbing and are so happy we did!

We dealt with Wayne and I was super impressed by his responsiveness. He came out to assess the situation and thought that the problem was that many of our down spouts were damaged or were just depositing water right at the foundation in a few spots. They replaced or fixed the spouts and diverted the water to the street. They also sealed at least one wall on the outside and came inside to seal a corner of a closet that was also leaking.

They were fast and efficient and Wayne explained what was happening every step of the way. We haven't had a chance to assess the effectiveness yet, since it hasn't rained for the last few days, but we are sure that this was the right first step (and hopefully last) to solving our problem.

The work was not cheap, but it was done quickly and well and was a big job.

Emerald City Plumbing, Rory was great to work with. He went out of his way to get me the best toilets and did great installations. I will use them in the future for all my plumbing needs.
They installed three new toilets, tow with larger 4"" opening to prevent clogging, Caroma brand from Australia. Also one Toto toilet for the guest bathroom.

I've used this company twice. Once, to replace a water line I had running from downstairs to my refrigerator. The other time I used this company was for my low water pressure in my shower and my to replace my faucet. They arrived on time and did a great job.

We recently went through some unexpected remodeling due to washing machine flooding. This included a whole house re-pipe, new flooring, electrical work, and drywall work. I'll be reviewing the contractors we worked with as result.

For our re-pipe, we wanted to work with a locally owned shop if possible, and Emerald was one of 4 contractors that we asked for a bid. They were scheduled to come around 6:00 on a weekday and they no-showed us, I called their main business line and it just went to voicemail. The next day, they called to reschedule. I wasn't too enthused based on the no show, but stuff happens, I thought I'd give them another chance. Rescheduled for that day.

Appointment time rolls past, again no show and no word. About 45 minutes after appointment time, the tech calls to let me know he was running late, and ask if we're still on for the appointment. At this point my evening was already shot so I said sure why not, even though there was a snowball's chance I'd use them at this point. He finally shows up about two hours past the scheduled appointment time. He claims that he'd actually been there the previous day, but had been running late and saw through the patio door that we were eating dinner and decided not to bother us. Ummm, what?!? Even if that was true it made zero sense.

I walked him through the house detailing the project and what work we were considering doing. A whole home re-pipe down to the water main is a pretty major undertaking, and we expected the cost to run into five figures. The tech took no notes, didn't count our fixtures, or take any measurements. At the end of it he said he would discuss this with the person in their office who actually does the estimates and get back to me. After all that, we never heard from them again and they never bothered to provide us with an estimate. They wasted two of my evenings and wasted their own time for no apparent reason, the whole thing was just baffling.

We had a substantial remodel in a short timeframe and Ray made sure we were taken care of. From a tankless water system install, to gas line work, and plumbing / appliance trim out, he made sure we were taken care of before moving on to other customers.
After all the work was complete, we found an old drain pipe not working correctly and Ray was back out the next day to get us a working kitchen sink.
He was professional, communicative, friendly, and his pricing was competitive. We will definitely use Ray for any future plumbing needs!
