Had them come out to replace a water heater. Called them first thing in the AM (Monday morning) gentleman picked right up and was at my door within the hour.

First class service and a first class product.

Would recommend them to anyone in the Chelmsford/Lowell area.

I cannot tell you how refreshing and comforting it is to have a plumber you can trust. I was referred to Buddy by the good people at Cox Fuel Co., Inc. We had a baseboard pipe burst and needed a plumber to come out to repair and replace the damaged pipe. Don was there in less than 90 minutes. He was courteous, professional and very helpful. Elston was a 5 star until Buddy was having a bad day and couldn't answer a simple question about installing a bathroom faucet after the existing faucet was worked on twice for a ""leak"" a few days prior. My question was could it be possible that the hot water faucet is leaking now due to any of the previously plumbing done for the leak under the sink? He jumped all over me when I asked that question and said it's a $90 service call. Who wouldn't ask that question after the fixed leak was done they had to come back because it was still leaking. He wouldn't let me finish my question after, which was is it $90 or additional $ to install the new faucet. Sorry Buddy to be such a bother. I am very disappointed with the owners ""customer service"".

Absolutely first class. Experienced a septic back up issue and within 2 hours of phoning Buddy, he was at our front door. The quality of his work and promptness was first class.

Our heating system totally quit just days after we bought our house in December 2005. We did a quick round of bids, and Elston Plumbing was competitive price-wise and gave the most detail about what exactly had gone so awry.

The crew was quick and clean, and Buddy Elston called us a few days later to be sure that we were still warm.

We've since used Elston Plumbing for two minor emergencies, and they've been responsive, efficient and gruffly pleasant whenever we've needed them. As much as I hope not to see them again, it's great to know they're there!
