I just had a major job done by Eric and ED from Ellis Plumbing. They did a fantastic job replacing my sewer line in front of my house and installing check valves on my drains in the basement. They did the work at a reasonable cost and busted there backs to get it all done in one day. After having Horizon Services come out and quote me an estimate and try sell me a bill of goods at 6 times the cost. This crew from Ellis are an excellent example on how to do business and do it right. They have restored my faith in this sometimes brutal business of hiring contractors. To end- Horizon Services sucks and Ellis Plumbing wins the Gold Cup. Thanks again Eric and Ed.

We had used Albert Ellis team to repair some duct work a few months ago and had a great experience. Our air went out last night so I called right at 8 am when they opened. They were able to send someone over right away and assess the issue. By noon, Brandon had us back up and running! Great service!

I wanted to update my review on Albert Ellis. After repairing our aging HVAC we finally decided to replace them as they were over 15 years old and at the end of their useful life. Replacing dual HVAC systems is a big investment so my husband and I decided to get a few estimates before making a final decision.

The Hutchinson sales person gave us a quote that was $14,000 more than Albert Ellis for the same exact units and this was with there buy one get one promotion . This made our decision very easy. We received excellent services from the owner David Ellis and his ace technician Dan. They spent considerable time specking our the project, pulling permits and carefully installing our units. Their attention to detail and respect for our home was very much appreciate. They were prompt, worked a full day, wore booties and put down heavy drop clothes and really made sure they did not disturb anything in our home during the entire project.

After the project they followed up to make sure all inspections were passed with flying colors. Even the inspector commented on how well done the installation was. Dan the technician was always available when we had questions and spent time showing us how to use the new digital thermostats which have advanced technology and operate like a nest. He also filled out all of the paperwork for us to receive our state of NJ rebates which is a refund of over $2,000. I highly recommend using Albert Ellis for all your plumbing and HVAC. The owner is old school, cares about their customers and stand by their work. Their prices are very competitive and they offer excellent service.

The employee that came to fix my water heater told me that what he had just spent 2 hours doing would not likely help, and suggested I call the office if I had bill related questions. So I called to talk to Dave Ellis, who yelled at me for calling to complain. When I politely asked him to not yell at me, he got angrier. I spoke calmly and reasonably, and was shocked by Mr. Ellis's response. The secretary called back the next day and offered to lower the bill and said that Dave was just having a bad day, and that I should understand that people just get frustrated sometimes. I asked her to have Dave call me to resolve it since I may have to talk to him again in the future. He just installed a brand new system in my home and I wanted to be assured that I can call in again if there is a problem without getting yelled at. I never heard back, even with a follow up email. So I am left with the understanding that Mr. Ellis has no interest in treating his customers with respect.

my family has been patronizing Ellis plumbing for around 50 years, and they are so reliable and professional that I wanted to give them a review. we called on Friday for an issue with a funky odor in the house, Ed came out Friday afternoon and checked every possible source, drilled some holes to vent our sewer, fixed a sink stopper that had broken years ago and basically shored everything up, while whistling happily to himself. what a great guy. I highly recommend this great company who still has that personal small town touch! thanks

This is the greatest group of hard working people. A family business that puts people and their needs first. A person even answers the phone every time you call. We got an estimate and the job done in record time two mini split units. They cared and took the time to finish off everything so nothing on the outside was an eyesore (see photos) We also had emergency plumbing work done on our little 1930's bungalow without a hitch. And when my mom needed a new sump Ellis's came out quickly knowing she was elderly. I think having a business be in the family for generations creates a strong sense of integrity and responsibility. Add friendly and efficient too. I highly recommend you call on Albert Ellis Inc. for any of your heating cooling and plumbing services. PS they didn't leave a speck of trash behind either.

My family has been a customer of this company for the past 30 years. Just recently, I ran into a problem, with a blockage, and my after 3 hours of not getting anywhere, was told they'd have to dig up the area. Long story sort, when I complained about being charged for 3 hours of billing time when it was apparent after 1 hour that nothing was resolved, I was told 'it is what it is' among other things. By far, not only the worst customer service but definitely no way to do business. I will no longer use them as a resource.

Just had this company come out and replace a kitchen faucet. They were on time, quick, got the job done and the tech was nice. However, when we called to get a quote to compare prices we were told $100 an hour but when the tech came in with the bill it was a surprising $178...the reason was because they also charge for time travelled to and from the house WHICH WAS NOT DISCLOSED. I can understand extra charges that may come up but this was a foreseeable expense that was not mentioned. We will not be using their services in the future and we will be sure not to recommend them.

The main water shutoff to my house needed to be replaced. The repair person showed up on time & performed the work quickly. The fee was reasonable so do not pay astronomical prices with ""the orange truck"" people. These guys are the best.

Had a malfunction on my home air conditioner on the hottest day of the summer and Albert Ellis was to my home within one hour of placing a call to them! Well-run company and top notch service. Highly recommend!
