Elliott's Blue Collar Plumbing
Company Overview
If you encounter a plumbing issue, reach out to Elliott's Blue Collar Plumbing without delay.
Having more than ten years of experience, we excel at tracing leak origins in private residences, hotels, educational institutions, country clubs, apartment complexes, retreats, and municipalities.
We find hard-to-detect water leaks in your home or establishment from water lines, sprinkler systems, wastewater systems, or various closed fluid systems. Our cutting-edge equipment locates these invisible leaks in a non-invasive manner.
Ben Elliott started Elliott's Blue Collar Plumbing. Ben, who grew up in Nevada County, is proud to serve the community he knows well. He learned the plumbing trade with Penrose Plumbing, a local contractor. His training emphasized upscale homes, remodels, and commercial builds. Ben added two more years to his plumbing expertise working with nearby plumbing businesses.
Elliott's Blue Collar Plumbing incorporated in 2018, welcoming partner Kevin Madsen. Kevin has a background in service plumbing, having spent several years with Roto Rooter of Grass Valley. Joining Elliott's Blue Collar Plumbing made the company a complete plumbing solution.
Ben and Kevin appreciate the community they live in. They enjoy activities like camping, dirt bike riding, fishing, hunting, hiking, and rock crawling with their neighbors.

Daniel did an outstanding job replacing a propane valve for my generator. A very friendly guy, he listens to the customer and does what is needed. Elliotts rocks!

I had Elliott's Blue Collar Plumbing do several projects at my home. He redid the plumbing underneath our home which the last plumber was supposed to do and it never got done.
Then had them put in a tankless water heater.
Needed my dishwasher water fixed properly and refrigerator ice maker.
Through every project they were professional and clean and did a fantastic job.
I am having them back now to install three new faucets in my yard this coming next week and I would highly recommend this company.

Our toilet flooded our first flood bathroom and flooded our HVAC ducts. We called Ben at Elliotts Blue Collar Plumbing and explained our situation. He was able to make it out the same day, which is very impressive in today ""short staffed"" world!
As we explained what happened, Ben went from the source of the issue to the crawl space to diagnose the problem. He was able to figure out that we had a clogged main line and set us up for a clearing the next morning. When Logan arrived we were thrilled to get everything back in working order and it didn't cost us an arm and a leg, thank you!!!
Elliott's Blue Collar Plumbing is amazingly responsive, professional and very fair priced. Highly recommend them for all your plumbing needs!!!

What a great company! We needed a plumber quickly and even though they were booked out over a month, Ben showed up on a Sunday afternoon to help us out. I highly recommend this company. Their prices are so reasonable.

Ben was great! Prompt and above all honest. Price competitive and practiced social distancing. Highly recommend this business. Replaced pressure regulator and installed a new shut off valve.

We have had Kevin out to our house twice in the last few months.
First time was to install a sewer back flow, which apparently you have to have in order to pass the inspection on a new roof. Who knew?
I had another company come out to give us a quote, The gal I spoke with, had told me it could be upwards of 2k dollars to install the back flow. So I had them come out, I knew approx. where our pipe was, due to PG&E had just marked it, which I had told the guy where it was. This other company, was going to put a camera in the pipes to figure out where everything was, well they didn't tell me that, or that it would be several hundred $ to do so, so I stopped the guy, paid the $75 or so dollars, for him to come out & do nothing but, thankfully I did.
Kevin came out, found the pipe in a matter of minutes, no camera needed, gave me a quote, explained the parts are the most expensive part. My husband did the digging, & it only cost us fraction of what the other company said it would cost!!!!
So, naturally, when we noticed a leak in our pipes under the house, I called Kevin, from Elliotts.
Took him a few days to get here, but, when you're doing good work, you're busy.
Again he & his helper were fantastic.
He found not 1 but 2 leaks & a broken vent pipe, informed me that it's a ABS piping that was recalled, due to failure, which happens to be all of my plumbing, ugh!!!
They fixed all 3 in no time at all, & it was only a $100 or so more, the the original quote for on broken pipe!
When you live in a small town, & you find someone you really feel you can trust, you want to share that with others.
If you find yourself needing some plumbing done, give these guys a call, you will not be disappointed!

These guys were great with excellent on time service. It was a fairly small job and that didn't bother them at all. Very happy customer here!!!

We contacted several plumber's looking to get a bid to install a gas line under the house. Every plumber that showed up just looked to see which appliances/furnace used a gas line and said they would tie-in from here or there without even going under the house. Elliott was the only contractor to jump right under the house and figure out the best way to get the gas to the kitchen without loss of pressure. If it wasn't for him, we'd likely have been disappointed in using our new range, especially for the cost of install all the contracts bid at. We plan to use him again for other jobs and are extremely happy to find a good plumbing contractor.

I called these guys to help my elderly mom who lives by herself with some plumbing issues she was having. I left a message and Kevin called me back with an available time to go and check things out. He fully investigated the entire plumbing system, and even went under the house to make sure everything was venting properly. He ended up recommending replacement of the water heater and a few other things. He went above and beyond to make my mom feel like she wasn't being taken advantage of like the Mr Rooter guys did by asking here to sign an open ended contract up front. I strongly recommend these guys as a result of their professionalism and quality of work.

Kevin came out to correctly configure the pipes with my disposal and dual sink drain pipes. Extremely reasonable, efficient, tidy, quick and trustworthy. I got his name from my 93 yr old neighbor, because she too was very happy with his cost and service. She had a 30 yr old water heater that needed replacement. She got his name from another female senior on my street. He explained things clearly and is just a great guy. I won't hesitate to use for future plumbing needs and highly recommend to everyone. Young men working hard, making an honest living. I have a lot of respect for them. And appreciation.
