You know when someone asks you if you got someone you can recommend to handle specific jobs, like a lawn guy, a tree guy, an electrician, etc? Well we've got plumbing guys - Ell-Dee Plumbing. When you read the reviews on here and on Google, you'll read words like "honest", and "fair", "hard working", and "trust worthy"... ALL TRUE. Our hot water heater went out 2 weekends before Thanksgiving; we called Steven on that Monday totally expecting for him to come out Tuesday already, but he was actually apologetic that he couldn't make it on the same day I called. So we agreed upon 9AM the next day, he comes out, assesses the situation, and then talked us through all the options from least to most expensive, short term vs. long term fixes, and best and worst case scenarios... very thorough and transparent. We opted to replace the old water heater we had (it was 14 years old anyway), and he had the new one installed by 2:00P that afternoon, all clean and up to code! Thanks, Steven! But that's not all... So a week later, the day before Thanksgiving, we noticed a puddle slowly forming on the garage floor. Immediately called Ell-Dee and left a message, with-in 15 minutes we get a call back from Steven who is about to leave town (it is the holidays) telling us that he's sending Joe over to check things out. Joe shows up, assesses the situation, gets our permission to open up a wall possibly two, and finds the leak that had probably been leaking for years but had been plugged up with sediment that we probably never even noticed it. Less than an hour later, leak fixed, shiny new copper pipe in place. Thanks, Joe! That's right, twice within 2 weeks. Both Steven and Joe are personable, professional, and an absolute pleasure to work with! Did I mention the only surprise we had with bill(s) where how REASONABLE they were?! So yeah, we've got plumbing guys, and you should too!

My hot water heater in the attic has a catastrophic failure and water was leaking down to the bottom level. Steve of Ell-Dee plumbing quickly came over and isolated the heater. He came back on schedule a couple of days later, got the city permit, changed the water heater, got a roofer for the vent, and scheduled the city inspector. Excellent job, prompt and reliable. I highly recommend this company!

Steven and his team are awesome! They are good guys doing the right thing!
I have had them do some huge projects for me including re-routing a sewer main line and a gas line to make room for a pool! He handled everything including inspections!

They can do everything from change a faucet to huge projects! Honest prices and very hard workers! Support the small local guys, you won't be disappointed!

Ell-Dee comes through again. Update since my 2016 review. The original proprietor of the company has handed off the business to his son with no degradation what so ever. The company is reliable, affordable, and knowledgeable. This latest fix was a leaky toilet valve, he immediately focused on the faulty part and replaced. Additionally we pointed him to a couple of sinks that were draining slow and he was able to diagnose the reason and offer some home remedies to keep it from happening again. Looked at another toilet we thought there might be an issue and noted that he did not see anything.

Also he and his apprentice wore masks and booties on the carpet.

An hour worth of service for under $200 including parts.

Always my first plumbing call.

I called Ell-Dee plumbing on a Friday prior to the labor day weekend. Although they were booked until the Tuesday after labor day after explaining my problem his son called Ell-Dee and he agreed to come out.
After about two hours Ell-Dee arrived and resolved my problem. He was very friendly and straight forward. I will definitely refer Ell-Dee Plumbing to all and will be my goto plumber.

Clean and honest work. Steven & his father, Ell Dee, have done many plumbing work for me around the house for my remodeling ideas (capping off copper pipes for bathroom, adding new water supply for new lavatory sink, moving plumbing around for washer dryer, etc) and I'm very happy with their work.
