Just hired Elkhorn to replace the entire HVAC in the house. They did an outstanding job. Justin and his entire team were professional and courteous throughout the whole process. All calls were returned promptly, all appointments were kept on time, and all work was completed on schedule as promised. We could not be happier with the Elkhorn experience.

Charged over $500 for a part that cost less than $50! My mistake...I should have investigated the cost of the part before agreeing to the repair. In their defense, they bundle the labor charge and business overhead into the charge for the part. But labor took well less than 1 hr. Pop the cover, pull the old part, insert the new. Advice--if you get an estimate from this company, do not siguthorize the work agreement without getting another estimate or two. Also, if they pull a part, get the part number and check the price yourself. You decide for yourself if a 1000% markup is consistent with ethical business practice.

This is an awesome company. Gary is awesome. I can be a somewhat demanding customer but Gary and his team worked with me tirelessly to ensure that my needs were met. It is a credit to him, his commitment to customer service, and an indicator of his integrity that he always does the right thing. I really appreciate it. Also, every one of the Elkhorn team that has been to my home, and who I have worked with, have been extremely professional, worked hard, and were extremely conscientious. Fantastic group of people! All the way from the kind woman that answered the phone, to the minute the guys left, this company is professional and caring. The poor woman that answered the phone had to listen to me freak out that my AC went out, and I'm about to have all kinds of people over for my wedding next week. She listened and took care of me, she had the guys out the SAME DAY! Other places I called were booked for weeks and charged $40 more just to come out and diagnose. The guys were clean, nice, and smart. They had my AC up and running in 20 minutes. They went the extra mile and made sure everything was working perfectly. Their prices are super low, but that's not why I'm recommending them, it's because of their PROFESSIONAL SERVICE. Use them!

I called to get a quote on a for a compressor for an older R-22 unit that I purchased from Elkhorn 12 years ago. I was told it would be about $3000, so it would probably be better to buy a new unit for $4600-$4800. She said that R-22 is $300 per pound that's why the repair would be so high for the older unit. My neighbor, an HVAC commercial provider, said that he pays $20 per pound for R-22 and charges the customer $25 per pound. He was able to find a compressor for $900. Fortunately, it was only a miswired thermostat that was causing the problem, so I did not need the compressor. Elkhorn has lost my trust.

We were very disappointed with this company. I called them because my furnace was not working. They said they charge $89.00 for a diagnostic fee. I told her we had had problems in the past with the electric panel. When 2 guys showed up I told them it might be the elec panel. They found a loose wire & connected it. Then came the bill. $134.37 to connect wire plus $89.00 to diagnose. REALLY

I found Elkhorn very easy to work with and friendly. We noticed at the beginning of the warmer season our AC wasn't working. I schedule a service call to assess the problem. Joe was early, professional, & friendly. What I thought would be a simple once over to determine the issue ended up getting fixed on the spot. I was very happy with how quick and easy the fix was. The price of repair was very fair and affordable. I appreciated their quick response and repair time along with what I consider is fair pricing.

We shopped around and found Elkhorn HVAC very knowledgable and recommended by the manufacturing companies. Gary was not only knowledgable but willing to explained answer all questions. We had such a good experience with them for years. They installed the AC system in our last home and did regular service on it. Had Gary come out and do a quote for us in our new home for an AC system and he was super thorough during the estimate appointment and spent 2 hours with me. Despite many calls and emails to the company afterwards, I still have not received the estimate (almost 1 month later). Very unprofessional. As we were bidding this out we were pretty sure we'd go with Elkhorn but apparently their service quality has gone way downhill and they don't want our business. I don't appreciate having my time wasted.

Had a great experience with Elkhorn when it came to installing a new attic system in my home. Added and air conditioner and a wireless thermostat. Tim McKeown even suggested a couple of things that I could do myself in order to lower cost a bit. The install passed Lakewood city inspection with flying colors.
