I've unclogged many-a-clogs in my adult life and tried tackling this one for my 60 y/o's house tub and though I gave it everything I had in my arsenal, I eventually had to tap out and call the pros.

Elk Grove Plumbing & Drain replied quickly to my request and was out within 2 days for my non-emergent issue. A nice man came out with the right power tools and was able to get the problem solved within minutes. My only service suggestion is this, I was told that coming out to assess the issue was no charge and I think that's true, but in assessing the issue with a snake, the issue was handled and I had no idea how much that was going to cost until the man was literally packed up and ready to leave.

I did have a little sticker shock initially as I've had a plumber from Ace Heating/Air and Plumbing repair a Pex line in an attic (2 man crew) and that was around $150 and they were out within 2 hours as water couldn't be used without the repair being done. Another time, I needed service super quick mid afternoon and 5 Star Plumbing come out within 45 minutes to repair a gas line I accidentally drilled a hole in and that was $350, but not cheap material was needed and part of the drywall had to be cut away. I only mention those to qualify my sticker shock seeing almost $200 to send a snake, albeit a fancy snake, down my drain, wait 2 days and in-and-out in 20 minutes.

I'm not upset about the price, I'm not the cheapest at what I do and feel I'm worth every penny and happy to let a would-be customer choose a cheaper service, but I also tell EVERYONE what the cost will be going in and stick to it, no surprises. Obviously, I'm not loyal to any 1 plumbing outfit and not sure Elk Grove Plumbing & Drain will be my first call next time, but have no issue with the physical service, I'll just know, and hope you know now, to bring up the discussion of cost before any service is attempted. This would have been a 5 Star Review had price been mentioned up front.

We had Parker come out to our house because our upstairs toilet was leaking and possibly going into our ceiling below it. We were expecting a big problem and thought we were going to have to go through our homeowners insurance potentially. Parker fixed the leaking toilet and fixed the wax seal and fingers crossed that's the end of our problem!!
So grateful to have found them because until now we weren't sure who to contact for plumbing issues. Hopefully we won't need to, but if we need a plumber in the future we will call Elk Grove Plumbing. So helpful and polite! Thank you!

My water main line was leaking on my side by my shut off valve the company came out one day later after setting up an appointment. The gentleman was nice and direct on what was needed to repair my water line. I would definitely use the entity again for any plumbing issues.

Elk Grove's water is so hard so we decided to invest in Halo water system to conditioner our water. We have used Elk Grove Plumbing and Drain for multiple projects, some minor, some major. Every time we contact EG Plumbing and Drain they are courteous and responsive, and we are always happy with the quality of workmanship and level of expertise. Lupe recently installed our Halo Water System and he did a phenomenal job. We couldn't be happier we love our water!

Very responsive. Plumber took care of our shower fixtures promptly. He was very kind and friendly. I appreciated text messages on status (reminder of the time frame schedule and informing me when he was on his way). I also appreciated him calling to say he was 10-15 minutes away. I had originally got a quote from Bonney Plumping for the following repairs:
Install a customer bought kitchen faucet
Replace/ repair leaking bathtub faucet
Master bath sink leak
I was quoted 933.81. I was in shock. It was 431 to install the faucet I bought. Crazy

Then I got a call from Elk Grove plumbing they came out Laird was super nice. They quoted me 250 to install kitchen faucet and replace bathtub handles with they showed me which ones on Amazon to order.

They completed the work on a Sunday. Fabulous customer service and great experience with Larid.

Elk Grove Plumbing has just earned another repeat customer.

Call EGP&D for all your plumbing needs. Very responsive and quick to schedule appointments even if you contact them on weekend. I had the pleasure of working with Laird. Immediately he diagnosed and explained several scenarios that could be affecting my plumbing. He then started selling me on a new water heater. No pressure and no false claims. I could've lived with the water heater but decided to give him the business. Being in sales myself I look for customer service and good presentation. Sold me on a 12 Year 50 gallon American Standard. They were here the next day to install on time and extremely professionally. Will be calling them for all future plumbing and drain issues. In this environment we are in where people want to work less and make more money it's a breath of fresh air to deal with professionals like Laird. Hard work and customer service pays off!

We had a clogged drain in our back patio and Laird from Elk Grove Plumbing came out quickly and completely cleared up the offending roots that were blocking the drain. Great service and a great price, highly recommend this business and will definitely be calling with our plumbing needs in the future!
