On Thursday we had an estimate for the work. Shawn came out and was super nice. He said he could fix our leaking pipe Friday around four or five. We were okay with that for a time window because he said he could do it cheaper than anyone else. Friday came and it was getting late so he messaged us saying he was at a nightmare job but could come by Saturday at noon. We agreed. Saturday we rearranged our schedule and around 12:30p.m. my husband texted to see what was going on. He messaged back that he was STILL at a nightmare job (same one) but that he was going to send his brother. We were a bit unsure at this point but he said his brother was already on the way and ""Part of the same company"" so we decided to just let him fix our pipe. An hour later no one showed up so we messaged him again and he didn't message back. We were getting really annoyed at this point because we had plans for the day. Around 4:30pm we finally hear back from Shawn saying ""Hey, I can't get through to my brother can we reschedule?"". (I mean what choice do we have?) Unfortunately, no one ever followed up with us or replied to any of our messages after that. My honest impression of this company is that they're way too understaffed and they shouldn't be promising they can be places and then they can't. I called another plumber and he came out in one day, got the work done in two hours, and it's working great now. I wouldn't waste my time here.

I don't even know where to start... we had a sewer back up issue in our basement and called them, they came out and ""rootered"" the pipe then ""scoped"" it. The said we had a bunch of build up and pipes that were deteriorating. They said we needed to have our basement floor jackhammered up to replace 5 feet of piping. Costing between $4,000 to $6,000 dollars! They proceeded to say that we were ok to use it until the could fix it properly, which wasn't he case, it backed up AGAIN a few hours after they left and it caused another huge mess!!!! In the meantime I spoke to a friend who referred me to another company that he works with a lot . They came out and immediately found a rag that was clogging the pipe. How if they rootered it AND scoped it would they have not found that??? Plus the new company said our pipes were fine. We tried to call the manager and were told we would get a call back. Its been 4 days and no call. We paid them already for their work they didn't do. They were trying to take advantage of us because they knew we had an emergency on our hands.

They sent a technician to work on my clogged drain. After a few minutes of work, he informed me that he didn't have the proper equipment and he will need to return on Monday to finish the job. I paid the invoice as he was coming back to finish the work. They didn't send anybody back for three days and when I send messages on Yelp it gets marked as read but they don't response. After a few unanswered messages, I started calling. The phone rings but they keep hanging up. They essentially took my money and ceased all communication with me. Don't use them or at least make sure that all the work is performed before you pay them.

A ""tech"" came out to do an estimate, asked me about what I needed, looked over the project then had to ""call his boss"". 20 minutes later he quoted me $2500.00 for the job which I have been quoted from others at $400.00 to $1000.00 max.

Communication is lacking. Had an appointment window set up and no one called, nor showed up. This is within a warranty window that seems to not be honored.

My technician was Cole Smith. He was very knowledgeable and polite and professional. He repaired the pipe leading into my water heater, which was leaking, and he showed me where the pipe had failed. (It was an old pipe.) He soldered a new pipe on and connected it. He wore a mask and worked very efficiently. He also answered questions for me about a repair I need on an outdoor faucet and also about installing main line water filters. He knew what he was talking about and told me how he would go about each job and offered to give me an estimate. Cole did a great job. I highly recommend him and Elite Rooter for your plumbing needs.

Denver Scam Alert. I contracted service from Elite Rooter to unclog a toilet that turned out the be a major replacement of a sewer line. A quote for $9600 was provided to fix the sewer clog. During the exploratory excavation Elite Rooter determine an additional $21000 was required to complete the job which consist of digging an additional 25 feet? I informed Elite Rooter to terminate the job when the Elite Rooter supervisor stated he could go 10 feet for an additional $9600 and it should (not guarantee) fix the problem. I preceded to contact three other vendors all gave a guarantee completion quote ($7600-$9800) to go the additional 25 ft if needed. Also, all stated that the quote they provided would have been given to complete the initial job. When I contacted the corporate headquarters to complain, they stated corporate policy was followed and implied to ""go pound sand"". So, if you need sewer work done and have no problem with paying three times the initial quote bestowed then this is a company for you.

Jorge was kind but they bate you in with the $79 charge then don't go all the way so that they can recommend doing a $1250 job which isn't needed. But they think you are dumb and take advantage. Then they try and say oh that service wasn't enough and say you need a service that cost $5000. Do NOT believe them. Get a second opinion. I only ended up paying $79 due to the fact we did our research.

This is a horrible company. Sorry. Just horrible. I have videos and the original contract with them promising to replace my drain line. They put a camera down the line, and said there were all sorts of issues from roots, to cracks, dips, etc. The line has been working fine for over 25 years, and had to snake it twice only. 1st day, they dug 5 feet, then stopped, said that I agreed to the 5 feet. I flipped out. Cancelled payment, call my attorney, filmed everything. Plumber agreed that company should have not done that, and he corrected my original contract to protect me from them. 2nd day, they now agreed to dig the 30 feet to the spray painted marks, they put there, but stopped about 3 feet shot again, and refused to dig more. 3rd day, plumber agreed that they should have just finished digging while they had the machine, and 2 more feet would have been about 10 more minutes. Mind you the cost of the digging machine is $300 per day. Nope, they refused again. So, plumber said screw it, and just dig the rest by hand. The city inspectors are you best friends here, as they will not allow a pumbling company to basically screw you, and force them to put your land back to original, fill in dirt, etc. 4th, General manager comes out, and trys to smooth talk me. They offers to dig to the end of the yard, for $16,000 more dollars? Can you believe this shit? wow! Further, we are now on day 7, and they still have not filled in my nice long hole. This company is by far that absolute worse, will make every attempt to screw you! They really did nothing for me except try to charge me $5,000 every five feet of digging. Very scary behavior, criminal, and my attorney said that the mistake I made was NOT READING the contract before I signed it. My advice? 1st, read the contract, because they will screw you in court with a good contract that you signed. Beware!!! 2nd, make a note of this company, and just move on. Period. Very bad news!!! 3rd, use a friend if at all posible. and last, it is best to rent the back hoe, to dig the trench yourself. Simple. Once I knew the cost of the rental, the company backed way off, and started to work with me. I wish I could have talked to the inspector also. Never did see him. Just the wroste experience ever. The only saving grace, was the plumber who rewrote the contract, and called me everyday to make sure everything was ok, and that we would get through this. 5 starts to the plumber, 0 to the company. DO NOT use this company!!! you have been warned!!!

I had a main line water backup this AM. Called Elite Rooter and talked to them in detail about needing my main line snaked for roots, how long the line was and the access point. I was quoted $79. When they arrived, they said that since it was a toilet removal access point (a 5 minute removal and reset) it would be $324!!!!
They are scammers!!!!!

Now (at 3:00 PM) I am scrambling to find a local, respectable company.

After a few calls, I found one and with a price guarantee of $95!!
