Don't believe what you see because this company is a switch and bait last minute. The service call for $77 but in the end they charge $400 with all these excuses I recommend that you clearly put it in writing before you let them start the job do not talk to the supervisor as he is very shady.

I don't really like to give any negative reviews. I have received the a kitchen drain unclog service in October 2022. I was told only hydro jetting could solve the issue which is very expensive. The service was not a good experience. The plumber came with a machine not working. He has not much experience. Have to wait for another people come. Spend almost full day to just unclog the drain and most of the time is waiting. The warranty is 9 month or 1 year ( I cannot remember clearly) since there is no paperwork for me at all. After half a year, the kitchen clogged slowly. Until today it is clogged completely. I called the office and the lady checked and said there is a warranty and so we made an apt. The plumber came and told us the warranty just expired. Then I called office immediately and was told there was no warranty at all! I accepted the pricy service because of the warranty. The office then said oh there is no warranty at all in your invoice. And the plumber said warranty just expired. This is absolutely a lie.

The $69 coupon on its Web site (https://www.eliterooter.com/location/san-jose/) is very attractive so that I called Elite Rooter. The appointment was made on Saturday, then pushed to Monday.

My kitchen sink was clogged. My house has an accessible clean out. The technician used his power sneak to put the cable in. On certain point, the cable was bumped. Then he stopped and took the cable out. However, the kitchen sink clog issues didn't get resolved.

Then the technician said that snaking didn't work for my kitchen sink clog. He started to recommend more expensive flushing service ($1299). We declined to pay $69 since he didn't get the job done. After he talked to his manager. he agreed with it.

The next day, I called another Plumber who was recommended by my friend. He came in and snaked from the clean out for a few minutes. The kitchen sink was unclogged. He only charged me $80.

Stay way from this company, which just sent unexperienced plumber to your house.

I rarely write reviews but I needed to comment on Elite Rooter's dishonest advertisement. I was looking at Craiglist for someone to clear my clean out since water was backing up in my lowest toilet and according to Elite Rooter's advertisement on Craiglist and they clear clean outs for 69$. If they can't do it, they won't charge you or so I thought...

I called and had someone come out July 5th, 2023. It was a young technician without much experience and he told me it would be 69$ and had me sign off before he started trying to clear out the clean out. He takes out a snake that looked super old and it's blades were rusted and barely sharp. I seriously doubted this thing was going to clear the drain especially since I knew I hadn't snaked my clean out in a long time. So of course, he fails to clear out the clean out and he tried wiggling the snake for maybe 10 minutes, but come on man that thing isn't going to work with it's dull blades.

Then he charges me 69$ and tells me that it will take 250$ to send a camera to see what's happening and that won't even fix the issue. Are you serious? I called another plumbing company instead and they were able to clear out the clean out since they use heavy duty stainless steel snakes with large blades on the ends of them for 125$. You could tell their equipment was commercial grade. They also came with 2 strong men that really worked the snaked pushing it in and out until they finally cleared it out and pulled the snake out together. They also said they don't charge unless they clear it out!

Bottom line, save yourself some money and don't go with Elite Rooters, or I'd like to call them Elite Loosers since they can't fix your problem and they use outdated, old, rusted, and weak equipment!!!

I used Elite Rooter 6/3/23 to check a leak behind my refrigerator. They gave me a 2hour window for my service and the dispatch notified me of the technicians timeline. Erick Zavala arrived on time and was extremely helpful. He went under the house to access the problem and found damage. Erick's manager/Gabe Robles was notified and he drove to the house to assist.

They pulled out the refrigerator and provided me with a quote and information on a restoration company they partner with to assist with the damage. Erick took great care to cover our hallway floor and area around our crawl space. His service along with Gabe's was top notch service. Completely satisfied with timely and professional services for the leak and quoted me for replacing the bad gas line once Erick determined it had a pinhole leak.

I plan to make Elite Rooter my go to plumbing company for all of my plumbing needs. Quality staff providing quality and professional services for our home. I HIGHLY recommend this company for your plumbing needs.

I had the pleasure of getting the senior technician Pablo J yesterday.

He helped us diagnose the issue immediately and is in contact with the homeowner on how to get the damage fixed underneath the house.

He was very attentive, hard-working, and his co technician, I didn't catch his name was very attentive and understanding throughout the whole process.

I highlight recommend Elite Rooter and want to give their technicians credit where it is due.

The guy showed up 40 mins late, looked at the drain cleaning bathtub (did not touch anything) and said the coupon they lured us in with wouldn't apply. It would be $190 for drain cleaning. We said no and after waiting for 4 hours, the appointment was done in 5 mins.
The guy already came in with his mind made up not to do the job.
Do not trust their coupons, it's a scam!

I usually don't review companies, but this company is exception. Stay away from this company. I scheduled appointment for noon and took my day off from my work. They called me later telling that crew will arrive between 2 and 3. Then they promised to come at 4 and then informed about arrival between 6 and 7. Then another technician called me at 5 pm telling that they can come and service will cost about $380 and there is 50% chance they will fix it! (How they could know it before coming? Three other companies told me they will fix it for $200-250). This company does not value your time at all. Not sure how they got good reviews here. We were using their services at my company (that is why I was thinking they are reliable). I don't think my company will use their services too anymore. Hopefully it will help owners to understand problems and future clients to make their right choice. I chose another company and very happy with my choice.

Our shower was draining slowly so I called Elite rooter to clear the problem. The plumber that came out tried to snake the drain but was unsuccessful. After going into the crawl space and examining, the plumber said that the drain pipe was rusted shut and needed to be replaced, and I was given a $3500 quote.

We called another plumber to get a second opinion, and they were able to snake the drain relatively quickly, and said that the previous company (Elite Rooter) was either trying to scam me, or that the plumber simply didn't try very hard.

Whatever the case, I do not recommend elite rooter.
