Very quick response with an estimate before they showed up. Final price was slightly higher but still within reason. Nobody has time to pay plumbers $89.00 for an estimate, but if you do the work we will refund your estimate. So IK applaud this company for knowing how much a job should cost and putting that out there for the consumer to decide. No games, just good work.

When I put out the request in Yelp for estimates on a new hot water heater and install, Pete and Elite Plumbing was not only the first to respond but also ended up with the most competitive bid. I pinged him multiple times to ensure I wasn't missing any hidden cost or fees. He replied quickly and thoroughly to all my questions.

The estimate seemed too good to be true plus I had also seen some mixed reviews on Yelp so I wanted to be sure I did the extra due diligence before making a decision. Not all plumbing jobs are the same and things that happened during the big Texas storm early in 2021 I had to take with a grain of salt. After confirming all the details with Pete and researching more online, I trusted him and his team with the job.

As a bonus, his team was ready to start work the very next day so we got it on their schedule. Communication throughout the engagement was great. They showed up in the window they gave me. They finished the work fast, efficiently and professionally. Everything went smoother than I even expected and I was very pleased with the work and overall experience.

I can't vouch for all of their services but if you need a hot water heater installed, I can definitely give them the thumbs up! I'll consider them in the future for other plumbing jobs that might spring up too.

I made an appointment to have a leak repaired. On the day of the appointment I noticed the leak wasn't there anymore so I texted the gentleman I had been texting the entire time to set up the appointment to cancel. He instructed me that next time I should call instead of text because his technician was already at my residence (He wasn't) and that's how they keep costs down. Well he had already estimated the repair to be $175 without even knowing what was wrong. These people are money hungry. He sent me an invoice. I guess I will put it in the neighbors mailbox.

It's very hard to find an honest plumber with fair prices. Pete and his team have proven several times to be a group of plumbers who are knowledgeable, prompt to provide service within the day or day after, and with fair prices. And that is very hard to find with plumbers. Also what I love is that Pete gives you a fair set price before hand without any last minute surprises like other plumbers do.

Pete, maybe you have me confused with someone else? I did not have October. Also, I wish you would respond to people calling you as fast as you would to a yelp review. You seem like nice guys but you need to look at the at the reviews here and see the patterns.

I would give negative stars if I could. After the snow here, I had the company come out to repair a pipe. I had to wait 2 days for them to come which would have been okay except he charged extra for "emergency service" which I'd understand if it was same day but it wasn't. Also, I was charged an ASTRONOMICAL amount of $400 for less than an hour of work and since have spoken to several plumbers who say I was basically robbed and taken advantage of because I was a single woman. I have tried to contact company with no response and have reported them to the Better Business Bureau and seeking legal advice. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!

UPDATE 5/21- Response from business owner saying that I received an estimate before service was provided is completely false, never happened. Also never told of the additional "travel charge" (Helotes is all of 8 minutes from my house). A family member was there to witness the event and even gave the suggestion on how to fix the issue which was just cut a piece of the sheet rock out and cut the pipe above the leak and just cap it off, a job that took less than an hour. Also was told when I called that only same day service was considered "emergency", so not sure why an appointment 2 days later would require the up charge. And to imply that the price is MY FAULT because I couldn't find another plumber(which isn't the case, I went with this company because they are so close to my house) is a completely arrogant and asinine statement. Finally, they left the work area a complete mess. No manipulation tactics from the owner response on "how they took care of customers instead of family" will change this review. Don't be open for business if you are going to use that excuse to rob customers.
