John and Jackie Pankraz founded Elite Electric in 1988 with a mission to serve others using their expertise in the electrical field. John set up operations in their home and started taking service calls using Jackie's pickup. As a team, they developed their family-owned business, first concentrating on new construction and then expanding into residential services and installations.

As the market evolved, we recognized new opportunities to better serve our clients, leading us to introduce air conditioning services in 2009, proudly rebranding as Elite Electric & Air. We have been fortunate to attract exceptional technicians and customer service representatives as we have expanded; each team member shares our commitment to serving our clients with integrity. We strive to provide the best possible client experience, which is why we focus on continuous training for our team, building technical proficiency and offering caring client service with a smile.

We were out of town and came home to a house that was 86°. It was a weekend so we were a little worried about calling an electrician. We called Elite Electric and David Cutler showed up within 10 minutes. He fixed the problem and we were not charged an arm and a leg. I would recommend this company to anyone at anytime if they had an AC problem.

Do not stand behind their product. Bought an air conditioning from them fours years ago, one year later paid 800.00 for some electrical problem that they said is not covered."""" I have been without air conditioning all weekend and they could care less. The evaporator coil needs replacing and they say labor is not covered. Another 1,000 dollars. Talked to Barker Air ad they said unit should come with a ten year labor warranty. RUN.. Go to Barker Air!!!!

This company is a rip off. Needed to have a control switch installed before hurricane. Supplied all the parts needed just needed the labor. The technician said it was a three hour job and wanted to charge me $1800.00. I called the office to give me thoughts and then the price went down to 1195 plus permits. Just shows that if a phone call can save $600 they aren't honest people.

Still no call back for quote on repair. I am going with a brand new unit and definitely not working with them.

I absolutely love this company. I've been a customer since 2018 and wouldn't trade them for another. The prices are competitive and reasonable with the market and you get the job well done and to your satisfaction. I use them for my AC needs and never have to worry about maintenance as they do a bi-annual check. I have also used them for plumbing needs like a clogged sink and tub and I was charged for the visit since the service would have been less. Either way, got me out of a pickle. Lately I've been using them a lot for my electrical needs. Upgrading outlets and fans, ceiling lights installation and removal and light fixtures all around the house. I asked for several quotes and even though some were cheaper, I still chose this company because I have a guarantee that the job will not only get done, but if there is an issue they will come back and fix it. I can't thank Matt enough for his knowledge, expertise and customer service. I always ask for him for all my electrical needs and he never fails to impress!!! Truly recommend this man, he is a hard worker and earns his money!

Elite Electric Plumbing and Air installed a new AC system that included a line set that came into attic through the eve from outside house. The line set was installed incorrectly with the line set up against the underside of the roof decking in the attic WITHOUT PROTECTION. Florida Residential Building Code Section M1411.7 Location and Protection of Refrigerant Piping states """"Refrigerant Piping installed within 1-1/2 inches of the underside of roof decking SHALL be protected from damage caused by nails and other fasteners. Customer is 87 years old and low income. A roof was being installed under a low income grant through My Safe Florida Home. The AC stopped cooling and customer called Elite Electric Plumbing and Air because customer paid an extra $595 (just under $10,000 install) for a 10 year extended parts and labor warranty. Elite Electric Plumbing and Air sent a technician out and a leak was found in attic where line had been improperly installed against the underside of the roof decking WITHOUT THE REQUIRED PROTECTION. Not only did the technician not fix the leak and replace the leaked freon, the technician tried to get 87 year old customer to sign a waiver and tried to get customer to agree to adding freon into the system without repairing the line for $895 and said would return in 10 days to do a repair. Customer refused knowing freon would leak out again. Then technician charged the low income senior $119 for the """"service call"""". Customer requested a manager call (this was Friday) and manager did not call and 87 year old senior with a respiratory infection spent entire weekend in an 85 degree house. Elite Electric Plumbing and Air was called on weekend and given number to call on Monday morning. Monday morning still no call from the manager, so call was made to Andrew """"manager"""" and he said that the repair would be $2175 plus freon. He denied that the code required any spacing and denied that the incorrect installation caused the needed repair. Would not do business with this slimy company EVER again and will tell everyone I know how this company tried to take advantage of this low income senior.

Horrrriibblleeeee experience. They called twice and texted once all confirming coming out today to do an estimate only for them to never show up and never call me over an hour past the appointment window. STAY VERY FAR AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE UNLESS YOU LIKE WASTING YOUR TIME ALL DAY FOR NOTHING.

They Charged me $196.00 for 20 minutes of work. Originally charged me $316.00 but after I questioned the charge they repated me $119.00. I will never use them agian.

First they show up without text or call for headsup. Second I asked for estimates and he gave me same amount with or without membership which is ridiculous. Third since there's a frickin service call which he only did estimates I still have to pay $119! 4th he sent me email by giving review for the other guy with him which is funny that he never talked to me anyway. In short he let down his coworker. Last this company is obviously a commercial. Everything for them is money.

I notice that Elite has many good reviews and I do not doubt that as technicians vary. However, not all techs are good. Read on We had Tony of Elite come to assess why our air conditioner did not work. * He said we had a freon leak (we did not). He did not even try to locate the leak. He had no idea if it was the outside or inside unit, but quoted us a repair price regardless. * He said the unit was over five years old and so it was not covered under warranty. (Not true. It is 4.5 years old and is covered by (warranty). * He apparently never took off the panel on the outside unit or he would have discovered the dead snake screwing up the controls. (The actual cause of the problem) * He quoted us $2300 to replace the inside coil even though he had not proved there was a leak on the inside coil ($1300 is the going rate) * He told us the new coil would only develop leaks again so we should get a whole new unit to replace our 5 year old Trane. * He quoted us $ 5130 for a new unit. (going price is $3800). We got another firm to look at our unit. They removed the dead snake and got it working again. They charged us $85. If you want to spend $5100, call these guys. If you want to spend $85 call Sean at Advantage Air. I have raised my review to two stars because Elite nicely followed up with me and assured me they would review their training. They also refunded my expense for the service call.
