I currently own over a dozen rental homes and formerly owned over 35 Rental homes. I recently had a tenant at one of my Pagosa duplexes call me to report her toilet would not quit running. The water bill at this property was already quite high so I hoped to have it repaired ASAP. I called the 2 local plumbers I usually use and they were both out of town. Since the home only had 1 toilet I decided to Google another plumbing option and found Element Plumbing. I called them and they said they could come the next day as they were going to be in Pagosa, so I scheduled them. They arrived and called me with 3 Incredibly high quotes to replace the toilet, which actually turned out to most likely only need a new flapper system. The least expensive option they quoted was $1390! I have replaced toilets many times over the years and never paid over $200. Element Plumbing knew they had me over a barrel as my tenant clearly needed an operating toilet and my other plumbers were not available. While they were there my tenant next door called me about her garbage disposal. They quoted me over $1200 to repair it so I declined that repair and had another company replace it for a total of $178.43.
This company took advantage of me and I obviously cannot recommend them for anything!

During a cold snap, we were among many who suffered from frozen sewer pipes. Even though overwhelmed with requests for service, Element Plumbing made time for us. The plumber they sent out was positive, courteous and professional. The job was far more extensive than he first thought, but he fixed all that was needed, even resetting our toilet seat the following day. I will use no other plumbing service. They are the best.

On June 19th, 2024, Element plumbing was supposed to come to my home and service my toilet and shower. When I spoke to them on the phone to schedule, they told me there would be a $188.00 service fee. I asked if they would be able to fix the issues in the service call and they asked me to send pictures of the issues needing repair with an explanation of what was wrong. They ensured me that based on what I described they would likely be able to fix my issues at the initial service visit and not need a follow up visit.
When they came, they didn't come to service my toilet and shower. Instead they treated it as a sales call and only brought in a clip board (not one tool!). They walked around my house and tried to upsell me on my water heater and several other issues that were not broken and didn't even try to fix anything. They were not truthful by calling it a service call. It was a sales call and they were soliticiting business. They did not work but charged me $188 to upsell me. They are dishonest and I encourage you to be careful in choosing Element Plumbing!

Ok I was very impressed the first time around when they replaced my hot water tank. The guys were thorough and cleaned up afterwards.
Tom returned Friday to fix the leak and replace the cartridge in my kitchen faucet, I was thankful to get the leak fixed. The charge was over $300 to replace the cartridge.....which cost a total of $12.00.
Guess you live and learn...would I use them again, probably. Would I recommend them yes, just be prepared to pay a lot.

Totally impressed, Tom Bickenbach, came to my house put in a new hot water heater, fixed my toilet, fixed the drain in my guest bathroom and cleaned up afterwards. Absolutely would recommend Element Plumbing!

Horrific experience. Needed leak detection and got someone who took photos, gave me 2 bids. 1 for $8000 and another for 11,000 to replace my entire plumbing system. Hot water heater, dig up the service line. You can plumb an entire house for this. Total rip-off. SCAM . RUN BEWARE

We called Element about a leaky angle stop under the bathroom sink which was warranty work for them. They came the very next day and arrived on time. They replaced the angle stop and stopped the leak. Joey and Roy were great. They took care to clean up and made sure we were satisfied. There was no charge. I would highly recommend them and would use them again in the future.
