Needed to have a gas line and electrical outlet installed for a gas stove I purchased from Custom Fireplace in Dublin and they referred me to this contractor. Left emails and voicemails but didn't get a reply on either. I understand if they're too busy to take on my project but I think it is extremely unprofessional to not even have the courtesy to leave a message. Called Plumbing Care Inc. in San Ramon instead and I was able to complete the job with no problems.

Another satisfied customer here. It was very efficient to have one firm perform both the electrical and gas prep work for a new fireplace insert.

Co-owner Dave T came out to conduct the survey and a week later co-owner Dave Z and Tyler showed up to do the work. They demonstrated good customer relations, including laying down drop cloths in my living room, discussing design approaches and decisions with me, reviewing their work when they were done, and cleaning up the work area.

They had good attention to detail. For example, they used gray caulk around the penetrations inside my fireplace (all dark and sooty) and red caulk on the outside (to match the brick.) When they noticed my gas meter was a bit wobbly, they added a bracket to stabilize it and reduce the likelihood of unnecessary tripping of my seismic gas shut-off valve.

Most importantly, the gas and electrical lines they added have a neat appearance and are obviously robust. I highly recommend EPI for this type of work.

EPI came out today to do the gas line and electrical for our new fireplace insert! We had a deadline on when we needed this done by and they fit us into their busy schedule so we could get it done. Joe came out on time and was so nice and friendly and did an excellent job! He put down blankets to lay all his drills and equipment down and was very respectful of our home. After he was finished he went over everything he did inside and outside. I would highly recommend this company.

Absolutely the best service. EPI did our electrical and plumbing on an over the garage addition nearly 6 years ago. 2 days ago, I had a breaker flip and smoke coming from the electrical panel as I tried to reset the circuit. YIKES! Dave T. came out on a moment's notice, even though they were scheduling out two weeks, fixed the problem quickly, answered questions, was patient and courteous. To top it all off, he kindly refused payment because it was such a quick fix and said to consider it a warranty on earlier work, even though it clearly had nothing to do with the work done 6 years ago! EPI is as professional, trustworthy as they come, I will absolutely call them again for service.

Both gentlemen that helped us were named Dave. They did a phenomenal job in taking care of us. They worked on everything from plumbing to electrical in areas where a prior contractor either failed or never completed the job. After experiencing that nightmare, it was SUCH a relief to work with both Daves and their amazing response time alongside their honesty. They were able to come when we needed to on several dates. Not only that, but they were tasked with very challenging problems within our house that took excess of 8 hours to complete and did so without complaint or making us wait too long for the next visit. There literally was no problem that they couldn't fix and we had quite the list...

I highly recommend them for their excellent customer service, response time, and pricing.

Dave completed an electrical and gas installation for my fireplace insert. They were on time, professional and cleaned the area before leaving. During the fireplace installation, the installers commented that the gas and electrical work was the best they had seen. They do great work and I would highly recommend them.

I have had EPI come out on 3 separate jobs and am always happy with their work. Dave always comes out to scope the job (I've had to call more than once on an occasion, but my jobs are not usually immediate so I don't mind) and gives me a reasonable bid. In fact, I do not bid out anymore because I trust him and his work. Brian usually comes out to do our jobs and is courteous, helpful, clean, friendly, and respectful of my space and the fact that I have small children. On 2 occasions, Dave has even purchased parts (to be reimbursed) for us that we didn't know existed or where to find and left them so that my husband could finish the job. Thanks Dave! Very happy with your work.

i have had Dave Titus due some electrical work for us several years back and was very pleased with the job so we called him again for a small job. He came by to look at the job as scheduled and we agreed on a price and time schedule. It was a small job about one hour work. He told me to call when I was ready and being we both lived in Martinez and nearby he would just drop by and do the work. I called when I was ready and he said he couldn't do it that day but would call me within the next two days. Well, I waited three days then texted him and said i needed it done by the next day and that it was ok if he couldn't do it that I would find someone else. He said he would get back to me mid morning the next day after he saw how his day was. He mentioned he had gotten very busy and hadn't even been home yet ( it was after 6:30pm) and that he didn't realize I was in a hurry and that I had been living the situation for years and perhaps I should get someone else. I texted him back that I would prefer him to do the work and said I would wait for his call. But he didn't call. It is true part of the job was a light that hadn't worked in years but the other part wasn't. That isn't the point. When you tell someone you are going to do something you do it or you call them and explain the situation. Or you just say you don't want to do the job. That would have been ok, I would have totally understood and called someone else. I am just bummed that now I have to start over and wait again.
